From Paul Dettinger on 03-Aug-2009: Stopped at CVX after we got weathered out of landing at Mackinac Island. Got fuel and free donuts while waiting out the fog. Fly-ins are not their 1st priority but they will take care of you. Nice flight planning room and comfortable place to wait out the weather.

Staff is friendly enough, but at the desk their first priority is their air service to Beaver Island, so you instantly lose their attention when an Island Air passenger calls or shows up. Charlevoix is definitely worth a visit with good places to eat and a recently renewed park beside the marina. A really pleasant place and not overly crowded compared to some summer resorts.
From Mark Spellman on 09-Jun-2007: I bought 21.6 gallons of 100LL for my C172 and was not charged any extra fees. They lent me a late model minivan as a courtesy car at no charge with the reasonable stipulation of 2 hrs max...More than 2 hrs and you have to rent it. Nice place.
