I bought 21.6 gallons of 100LL for my C172 and was not charged any extra fees. They lent me a late model minivan as a courtesy car at no charge with the reasonable stipulation of 2 hrs max...More than 2 hrs and you have to rent it. Nice place.

I landed, ordered 40 gal and a quart of oil, spent the night, and was not charged any landing fee. Friendly staff. Charlevoix is a beautiful town within easy walking distance of the airport.

Stopped in at Island FBO after leaving Mackinaw Island, which has no fuel. Island is a nice FBO & terminal (clean bathrooms) with very competitively priced fuel. Very fast & friendly service too: They even pumped the 44 gal of 100LL from the self service pump and pushed my plane back so I could taxi out easier. Island also runs a charter back/forth to Beaver Island using Britten-Norman Islander aircraft. I'm defiantly stopping here again and going to add Beaver Island as a destination. BTW: I found Charlevoix using the fuel price search on AirNav.

Visited for 3 hours on 7/8/06. WARNING!!! $25 landing fee not waived for less than 50gal fuel purchase!!!! I couldn't even take on that much on that trip. Too Bad. Won't ever be back!!!!!

Bring your own tie down ropes if arriving when Island is closed.
