  KCXY EAA 122 Fly-In and FAAST seminar. Saturday March 17, 2018 Thank You Skyport Aviation, Carl Adkins for coordinating this Fly-In. It was well run in cooperation with EAA Chapter 122 Harrisburg, PA. President Mike Spangler and chapter volunteers. The breakfast provided in cooperation with Nick's 114 Cafe 114 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA Phone: 717.774.6612 was VERY GOOD and plentiful. Highly recommend Nick's if you are visiting KCXY. The FAAST Seminar was most informative and interesting as presented Harrisburg FSDO office. Looking forward to the next Fly-in Event at KCXY June 9th 2018

  Arrived to refuel on a re-positioning flight to Georgia in an SR20. We were greeting upon arrival and offered water bottles by a friendly staff member. We were fueled right away a while we enjoyed the donuts and coffee inside the FBO. Reasonable fuel prices, nice staff. Would definitely go to SkyPort if I end up at CXY again.

  Flew into KCXY on Oct 2... The staff at CXY was awesome. They were very helpful and Carl went above and beyond to help me. My preferred airport for visits to Harrisburg area.

  Thanks Antionette for your excellent customer service! Parked there 3 nights, great service and prices, easy to drive the rental car on to the ramp to unload and load baggage. After arriving back home, realized I had forgotten my GoPro in my rental car. A quick call to Antoinette, who sent the line guys to retrieve it. The FBO very kindly shipped it to my house, free of charge! Will definitely use Skyport again whenever I am in the area.

  The Skyport Aviation team went above and beyond to meet our needs. I was based there for a month working in the area. Due to my company's policies, we often had several special requests that made their jobs more difficult. They were always so willing to help us out with nothing but the best attitudes and smiles. One day I was handling several bills for 5 different aircraft and they were incredibly patient in helping everything get straightened out so the paperwork would be just right to send back to my boss. I could not have asked for better service. The people were kind and friendly - such a joy to be around them.

  Professional Staff, large comfortable pilot lounge, lots of hangar space including a hangar wide and high enough to accommodate several very large G5/ Falcon 900 type jets. Supermarket with deli within walking distance but they have a crew car also, airport is close to Downtown. Dave the FBO manager personally greeted us and helped us push our helicopter into the hangar, we were there for several weeks doing powerline work and they helped push out and in everyday. A big thanks to the rest of the crew, Robin, Antoinette, Mike, Harry and Andrew!

  Went up on trip with our kids to visit Chocolate World and tour some Amish things this past weekend. Airport was awesome, location was awesome and Antoinette, Robin, Megan and Mike (hopefully got the names right), were awesome. Rental car was there waiting, accommodation they booked was reasonably priced and great, all at short notice. Highly recommended.

  Visited the FBO in a Socata TBM the second week of March while it was still named Volo, it's my understanding that the staff will remain with the new name. I was greeted by a lineman. The staff at the desk is very nice and the facility is above average. There was no crew car the day I was there. The charges however are well above average. I flew a 25-minute flight to get to this location and could not buy their 100-gallon minimum fuel purchase and as such was charged a $150 facility fee, even after buying as much of their higher priced fuel as possible. Before writing this review, I felt it only fair I write the facilities manager addressing my concerns, Mr. Todd Smith. I never received any response from him. It's worth noting that literally across the river there is a facility with fuel that's cheaper, nice facilities, crew cars and a minimum fuel purchase that's half of this location.

  Stopped at KCXY on Sunday morning for a graduation. The folks at Volo know how to take care of their customers. Lineman met me outside, offered to bring my rental car up to the plane, and yes, fresh cookies and coffee waiting for me inside! Thanks for a great experience - keep up the good work!

  Friendly place with nice restroom, lounge and snacks. Fuel service was easy and quick.... The lineman was waiting for me when I pulled up to the FBO. I called ahead and they had a rental car waiting for me and also printed directions to various restaurants I had wanted to try. They suggested Bricco in Harrisburg (a few minutes farther than the nearby sandwich shops) and it was phenomenal.... Well worth the extra drive time. If you want more basic food, there are several sandwich and pizza places only a 5-minute drive from the FBO.

  Flew in to KCXY to take the family to Hershey, PA from Norfolk, VA. I called Volo and the wonderful Jessica answered the phone to give them a heads up that we were coming and I requested a hotel and rental car. Within an hour, I received an email back from her and everything is reserved. Alright! After landing on the 2.5 hour flight, the line personnel directed us to a parking spot and here come Jessica rolling in our rental car next to our DA40 airplane. Having a baby car seat and several bags, it was wonderful not having to make multiple trips carrying everything across the ramp. After we got the rental, we were on our way to Hershey. A $10 flat rate landing fee was waived since I elected to top off the tanks. Only had to pay for an overnight fee, which is less, then $10 per night for a single engine. Wonderful crew lounge, chocolate chip cookies were great, complimentary water bottles during the hot and long flights, and complimentary Hershey chocolate bars. THANKS VOLO!!!

  We came from OSH heading to Massachusetts on 7/30. It was a needed quick turnaround due to on coming weather. The folks at Volo couldn't have been more accommodating. We were a stranger here and they treated us as family. Great accommodations for the pilot lounge and planning and quick fueling. First class operation and we were a single (N724CA). Thanks. The guys at the desk and on the line are great.

  Flew in during a BFR with my CFII last week. Outstanding service and attitude from the minute we landed. We were provided a very nice courtesy car for lunch, and came back to a helpful staff that had topped off the aircraft and provided us both with a complimentary Hershey Bar and home made chocolate chip cookies and coffee on a very cold day. Very impressed with VOLO and wish them the very best of luck in what has historically been a "doomed" location for an FBO. Keep up the great work, VOLO!

  Landed at CXY for an over-nighter. Two line guys met me and asked what I might require. I asked about the hangars as I was expecting to leave early the next day and didn't want to deal with snow/frost on my plane, and I wanted to plug in my engine heater. I have never used Volo's hangar space before this past weekend. They were great in getting my plane into their heated hangar and they ensured it was plugged in. Additionally, they pulled the plane out and had it topped off about 10 minutes before I arrived for departure. Warm plane, full tanks! Tracy at the front desk was excellent too. She made sure I had everything I needed. She went above & beyond on all airplane services that I requested, and even made sure there was fresh coffee upon my arrival. Volo Aviation at CXY will be a regular stop for me in the future.

  Diverted to KCXY this past Sunday due to weather. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE!!!!!! Kudos to the desk attendant when we landed who called his boss to ask him if we could put the plane in the hangar overnight as we were leaving early the next day and did not want to deal with the frost. No problem and no charge!! We asked about hotels/restaurants and were given great recommendations. They even let us borrow the crew car overnight to get to the hotel!!!! It does not get better than this. This is perhaps the best treatment we've had at any FBO, ever!!! We bought some fuel and put gas in the crew car with pleasure. Can't wait to stop back!! Keep it up Volo!!!

  Top Notch. Diverted to Capital City Jan 5th 2014 because the freezing rain had already made it to MDT. My Cessna 172 was greeted by 2 line guys who asked me if I needed any services. I replied hangar space would be great. They said they didn't have any but they would re-stack the hangar to get me in. They work for an hour in freezing rain to make space for me. While they were re-stacking the hangar Todd Smith drove me to Avflight at MDT to pick up a 130Lb German Shepard that I was rescuing. By the time we got back to CXY his Mercedes SUV was full of dog hair that I offered to clean but he said it was no problem. He also found me a dog friendly hotel and dropped me off and picked me up the next day. I would say that the service was much more than I ever received at any other FBO I have traveled to.

  Had a less than positive experience last Tuesday at Volo. I will start by saying that 2 yrs ago I had a great experience at CXY Aviation. (See the comment below) Last year I had an unfavorable experience that I did not report on AirNav at CXY Aviation. I called 2 weeks prior to my arrival to make sure that I wouldn't have any problems and was told by Todd that he would take care of us and get me in the hangar. When I showed up the person behind the counter knew nothing of my hangar request and was not at all helpful with my request. Line service parked me and took off running without helping with bags. This was a very disappointing experience. Think twice before coming here!

Mr. Gast, I would have appreciated your comments more had they told the rest of the story. What you left out was that you never informed me of issues you experienced with line service regarding baggage handling nor the fact there was a miscommunication on scheduling issues with one of our hangars (a fault I took full responsibility for while explaining the situation to you on the morning of September 18, 2013). More importantly, you left out the fact I gave you a significant fuel discount while waiving your handling and overnight fees due to this miscommunication. As I told you that morning, this was in order to demonstrate my commitment to you as a customer. Best of luck to you and your company in the future.
