My family and I stopped in Cheyenne for a couple of hours. Although the Sky Harbor staff was busy with bigger jets and turbo-props, they managed to get my Cherokee Archer parked and chocked. We took the courtesy car into town for breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.

From Rudy Dollard on 14-Apr-2008
Sky Harbor has a friendly staff and great service; there is also a great Mexican restaurant on the field with window tables.

From Kent Webb on 02-Oct-2007
Nice FBO. You have to ask for the unadvertised .50 cent per gallon AirNav discount. Was treated well in our C210 for an overnight stop. Had rental car waiting on us. Nice line personnel.

From Andy Van Tol on 09-Sep-2007
I sure appreciate the use of your courtesy car!!! Thanks again. I was in yesterday to drop off a car in their lot for someone arriving later this week; it was "No problem!” Really a friendly and helpful place.

From Matt Barrow on 19-Aug-2007
This FBO is certainly adequate and friendly, but if you're just passing through, there's much cheaper gas (by 50 cents to over $1.00 / gallon) just 70 or so miles north (Torrington) or south at Loveland without all the gimmicks.

From Lawrence Calder on 01-Aug-2007
Sky Harbor Air Service provided excellent fuel service and attitude. They have approach plates for neighboring states for sale. Caution: Verify fuel price when ordering and paying for fuel, as they only honor AirNav price IF you remind them of it—otherwise you pay listed price. In all of my travels, I've NEVER encountered anything like this!!!!). Also, insure that you get the $.50 discount/gal for weekend purchases. Bathrooms were acceptable.

From Jeff W. Robertson on 05-Jul-2007
Stopped by CYS in our Comanche and received excellent service from Sky Harbor. Very friendly staff met us at the airplane and offered us a courtesy car and the .50-cent weekend discount on gas. Still not cheap, but reasonable.

From Bahadir Acuner on 11-Jun-2007
We were on our way for a late night arrival. I called 25 miles or so out on the unicom frequency and the guy at the counter said he would wait for us before they closed (10pm). We were there at 10:10pm. We were given a courtesy car and a hotel reservation. The next morning we were charged a 'call out fee' of $50. How this is a call out fee if there is someone already there?

From Mike Forney on 10-Jun-2007
Great service at this fine (but often windy) airport. They give a 50-cent fuel discount on weekends, but be aware that the guaranteed fuel price ($4.21 at this writing) did not include tax. The overall price for us after asking for the AirNav guaranteed price was $4.54. Still not a bad deal as prices go in these parts.

From Don Shade on 05-May-2007
Clean FBO, good service. Didn't get the guaranteed fuel price, however.

Response from Paul Martin, Sky Harbor Air Service
We're sorry for any confusion, but the AirNav price is just that - an unpublished price just for AirNav.com users as our ad says. Just tell a Sky Harbor associate that you would like the AirNav price and your wish will be granted. By the way, we are always glad to go back and credit your card for the difference if you let us know.

During a recent flight near Cheyenne, the engine in my Cessna started running roughly, so I made a precautionary landing at CYS. In the past I have refueled at Sky Harbor, and have always received good prompt service. When I taxied to the Sky Harbor ramp I asked if they had a mechanic available. It was late in the day, but they called Dave, and he came back to the FBO to help. The problem turned out to be foulded sparkplugs. Although they didn't have the plugs I needed that evening, they got them early the next morning, and Dave had my ready to go in short order. This is a very good FBO, and they go out of their way to provide service. THANKS DAVE!

The Folks at Sky Harbor get two thumbs up from me. I've rarely been treated as well as I have at this near perfect FBO. It will be my mandatory stop on my way thru Wyoming again. Thanks for the great service. And thanks to AirNav as a way of reporting it!!! DL

From T. Enriquez on 08-Oct-2006
Beware Sky Harbor's 'guaranteed' fuel price listed on AirNav. The guaranteed price on Jet-A is $3.35. The price I paid yesterday was $4.09. AirNav does not allow pilots to update 'guaranteed' prices. Only FBO personnel can do this. I have notified both AirNav and Sky Harbor's manager of this problem.

From D Hiatt on 20-Sep-2006
After being to hundreds of airports across the country SKY HARBOR gets my "A" number one vote for best FBO! I landed there in high winds and was tied down before I could get out of my airplane, brought inside and was asked how they could help, Jessie got me a discounted room at the "Plains" hotel, called a courtesy car to the hotel, gave me a .50 cent discount on fuel for mentioning "AirNav" and not charged for parking, they kept and eye on my plane to make sure it was safe, and upon my return was helped with routes thru the mountains and weather info. These folks are the best and would be my only stop thru Wyoming. Keep up the great work!!!

From Travis Dewitt on 19-Aug-2006
Planned to stop at Sky Harbor for refuel. Plans changed, several times. Mike and the crew bent over backwards to facilitate every need we had. Great FBO, Great people. Thanks again.

From Aaron Bogie on 03-Jul-2006
I used CYS as a fuel stop last week. I notified the facility we were coming and needed a quick turn. When we taxied in the truck was waiting for us. 150 gallons and 15 minutes later we were back in the air. Great Service and Great Line Staff. Thanks!!!!

From Stuart Gitlow on 23-Jun-2006
The FBO provided quick fuel and tie-down service when I stopped there for an overnight. We were loaned a car to drive into town for dinner. The only problem is that the FBO opens at 6am and there's no gate for pilots to get to their airplanes should they wish to leave before that. We had planned a 5am departure that we delayed due to this oversight by airport management (apparently no fault of the FBO). Friendly and pleasant overall.

Response from Dave Haring, Assistant Airport Manager, Cheyenne Regional Airport
The general aviation ramp is under the exclusive control, including gate access, of Sky Harbor Air Service. Sky Harbor Air Service maintains a 24-hour access number so that general aviation customers of the Airport can have their needs tended to by Sky Harbor whenever they may arise. This includes, but is not limited to, aircraft maintenance, fueling and access. Since Sky Harbor maintains exclusive control of their ramp, all individuals utilizing the General Aviation ramp are the responsibility of Sky Harbor. As such, it is not proper for the Airport to grant unlimited access to the ramp. Individuals wishing to access the ramp after hours must either make prior arrangements with Sky Harbor Air Service or contact their 24-hour service number. This process is necessary to maintain the overall security of the Airport and its users.

We chose SkyHarbor in Cheyenne, WY because of their guaranteed and relatively low Jet A price and location to our route. Prior to departure, we checked AirNav and saw their price was $3.78 GUARANTEED. While writing the fuel order, we were told the price was $4.44. We asked when the price changed because 61/2 hours earlier, it was still $3.78. She said she hadn't been able to change the price on AirNav yet. She said the best price she could offer was $4.24. I left to confer with the pilot and saw a computer with the KCSY AirNav page active. After refreshing the page, the computer still had $3.78. I told the pilot about the price confusion. He asked the girl what the word guaranteed meant on the AirNav page. She said she would honor the price. While we were pleased they honored the advertised price, it sure did not feel good that we had to ask twice. That being said, their facility was nice, service was efficient and all their staff was professional.

Just stopped in for some fuel and got everything we needed in a prompt, courteous manner.

Phenomenal FBO this weekend. The students I met and were serviced by were just excellent. They were very professional, and the study materials on the counter, along with their attentiveness showed their unhampered love for aviation. They were very willing to work and assist me. They didn't even complain that the winds were gusting in excess of 40 kts. Not to mention that all the employees jumped right in despite that one shift was ending. I, however, needed minor maintenance, and none of the on-call mechanics answered their phones, therefore I opted to depart to a more mechanically inclined FBO. If more places were operated with the same customer focused attitudes, and love for aviation, general aviation would be well served. Great jobs guys and girl.

Flying over Rawlins on December 30 my electrical system failed so I opted to land at Cheyenne. The folks at Sky Harbor troubleshot the problem and had the parts overnighted for Saturday delivery on New Years Eve. I was in the air shortly after the part came in. They were a great help and even arranged for us to stay at a nice downtown hotel at a discount. I have landed here before and as always receive great service.

Great service, friendly professional line personnel, and one of the most unique crew cars around! They should all be like this.

From Marvin Baldwin on 28-Dec-2005
I have flown from Denver FTG to CYS 2-3 times a month for more than 5 years, to pick up my granddaughter. I almost never buy fuel, yet the Sky Harbor personnel always meet me and direct me to parking in a very professional manner. They treat me and my 59 Bonanza with the utmost respect and professionalism. Very nice operation!

From Alfred Pick on 14-Nov-2005
My experience is that this FBO does not want piston singles on its ramp. We had been stopping here 4-6 times per year on our way to and from our second home in WY. On the last stop, the line boy overfilled my fuel tanks after I have asked him if he was familiar with fueling a Viking. He said yes. There was fuel all over the ramp. When I complained, the management supported the line boy and actually made a derogatory comment about my airplane. We will never stop there again.

From Scott Foster on 04-Aug-2005
Nice stopover with Sky Harbor. They have a well-equipped pilot's room and fast service. The service at the Mexican restaurant at the terminal (1 minute walk) (Charrito) was quick and the food was super - homemade salsa with a kick!
