We landed here just for fun today. I was impressed with the clean bathrooms and the couch to rest on for a while. By far was the assortment of drinks in the fridge for only $.25. Not bad for my first visit to Delta. Self serve pumps looked all right too.

Wow, I just flew into Delta last night as part of my Commercial Long Cross Country Flight. There is Nothing there. My best description is: Be prepared to find an airport with a rotating beacon, a self-serve fuel pump, and only one runway that is lighted at night, (17-35). Also, at night, it is dark, and I mean DARK.

Runway 12/30 is in poor condition with grass and small bushes growing through it. Assault is also in poor condition with holes and FOD. Gas was cheap and available. One scratchy pay phone to call FSS.

Great Jet A price but ALL self-serve. When I was there I was the only person on the field..... As far as I could tell. Be prepared to do everything yourself, but it is a big savings. Also had trouble getting the pump to stay on.
