Stopped here having electrical problems. No help here but called the Days Inn and Victor came and got us. Offered us the use of his vehicle, which we took him up on the next morning. Went to Ace hdwe and bought a battery charger and extension cord. Motel was clean, good bed & reasonably priced.

Stopped enroute from Anchorage. Thought the advertised prices were good, until I fueled. Price went up $0.25/gal, couldn't read the credit card meter or instructions, and the pump shut off early contrary to my instructions. Meter would not read my card again. Called the posted phone number and it was in Tennessee. They said they have had problems with the pump setup and know about it. AND, it is a long taxi to 17/35. Best to pass on this place.

We were stuck in late June in Delta with our Skyhawk (WIND! Lots of it). The pilot lounge was not the best: no a/c, no Wi-Fi, but with a working soda machine. We fueled, ultimately gave up waiting for the wind to become manageable, and called the local Day's Inn resigned to spend the night. I have to admit I have NOT had good experiences in recent times with Day's Inn so I was not looking forward to the night there. I was wrong to worry. Not only did the hotel manager come out and pick us (me and my wife) up, but he refused even to take a tip for the service. Then the hotel itself was one of the cleanest and best maintained of any brand lodging. The pool was especially clean and well maintained, and the hotel was across the street from a decent Mexican restaurant, and just a block away from a movie theater. We so enjoyed our stay we'll likely spend the night there again, even in calm winds. The manager also made arrangement for a ride back to the airport at a time of our choosing.

Runway 12/30 is closed and is now a taxiway. Runway 17/35 has been recently repaved and is in very good condition.

Good clean bathrooms. Sodas only $.25! Excellent prices on the fuel too. Great stop before heading back to California. It will be our new fuel stop through that area now.
