My wife and I flew from TKI to DTN for a day trip. The staff at Royal Air was very friendly and helpful. They weren't in the office when we arrived, but there is a cell phone number clearly posted on the door to call for service. The line guy was servicing a plane on another part of the field. I gave him my tail number and asked him to top us off. Also asked him who to call for a ride to Sam's Town. He gave me their number and told me they'd pick us up and return us as a courtesy. When we returned ($150 poorer, slots), our tanks were full, and he had us processed and ready to go in about a minute. Very neat place to go. There is not a crew car any more, however.

Made a casino visit and left the Skyhawk with Royal Air. Lineman meets the plane and took care of fueling and tying it down. I called El Dorado Casino ahead of time (1.5 miles) and they sent a limo to pick us up...Now that doesn't happen to a Skyhawk (or me) often. LOL. I just asked if they had a courtesy van that could run over and get us. It seemed to short too bother a cab. Royal was very easy to deal with and everything went smooth.

Flew into Shreveport this last weekend. Was met and parked on the ramp. Good service. The lineman had a cab on the way for me before I could even get inside...Great job thanks!!!

I stopped at Royal Air on July 15 for an Angel Flight relay. There used to be two FBO's here. Now there is only one, which is all that is needed. The service was excellent and the fuel price was fair. A local casino (Sam's) will come and pick you up for a meal, if the FBO's courtesy car is not available. The courtesy car is an unused rental and it was out. But this is an excellent stop.

Arrived on 20Feb07 for business. The ground crew was prepared and ready to help me with all my needs. Enterprise had dropped the ball by picking up a car that I had reserved. However the FBO manager got me an upgraded car with Budget ASAP. The Royal team is the BEST! Check them out on your next trip. Great Fuel prices also.

Stopped in on 10/15/06 to spend a few days in Bossier City. Was met by the "Follow Me" cart as soon as I cleared the runway. Aircraft was fueled right away and tied down for a four-night stay (no ramp charge) Fuel was 4.09 with Avfuel card. FBO personnel secured transportation for us to our hotel. A great experience! Have visited Royal twice in last month....Meet us at the ramp and although I needed no fuel lineman was more than helpful and offered us a ride in his personal car!!! Gave us a number to call so he could return and pick us up!!! There should be more FBO like this one....Will definitely stop in anytime en route through this area....Give them a try, you will be more than pleased with southern hospitality!!!!

I stopped at Royal Air at DTN for an Angel Flight hand off. The folks met me at the flight line and let me use a car at no charge to go eat breakfast. Service was outstanding!

Angel Flight to return a hurricane evacuee from Kansas City. Lineman met us on the ramp with cart and transported luggage to the waiting party's vehicle. Had lunch at the restaurant before heading back to KC. Some good home cookin'.

Stopped in at Royal Air on our first trip in our CJ Sep 9 & 10. Most courteous and helpful service. They have a power cart (the other folks didn't) which helped us tremendously to pre cool the aircraft for departure. Many thanks!

We ended up at Shreveport in our Lance after leaving Birmingham for approaching hurricane Dennis. We had used Tac Air before and decided to try Royal at KDTN. What a great find. This airport has been around since 1931. The plane was being tied down before our kids were out of the plane. This is a true general aviation airport where the kindness is genuine. The staff at Royal Air go above and beyond to make sure your time there is a good experience. We will be back and highly recommend Royal Air. Support airports like KDTN, we need more like them.

We saw their ad in the AOPA directory, so we decided to park there. Very friendly staff. Flew in on Saturday to do a little gambling. They marshalled us in, chocked us, and let us have the courtesy car for an hour, even though we didn't buy gas. We also ate at the airport cafe. They have a redeye special for $6.95 that has 3 eggs, meat, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Not too bad. The guy behind the counter was also very friendly. The terminal was built some time ago, but is very clean and cozy. Thanks guys.

On April 2nd & 3rd, we had an Air Show here at Jasper County Airport (JAS) and I was tasked with getting engine oil samples for the military aircraft that were performing here (A-10s) to Barksdale AFB each evening so that the planes could fly the next day. I contacted Jerry Jacobs at Royal Air and he gladly provided a courtesy car for my pilots who flew the samples into DTN each day so that they could drive out to the AFB, have the samples evaluated and return. Jerry's fine staff (Paul & Lee) went out of their way to insure we were able to pull all of this off without a hitch. I hope I am able to return the favor in the near future. Thank you all at Royal Air.

Made a day trip to KDTN 3/19/05 and parked at Royal. The line personnel guided us into an available parking space and tied the aircraft down without me having to ask. They were a friendly bunch and the fuel prices were attractive. I recommend this airport/FBO.
