First time to this facility...What a top notch FBO! The VOLO personnel were very attentive to our needs and went over and beyond while we housed our Mooney there for one night. She was placed in a hangar and kept there until we were ready to depart. For ease of loading her up and keeping her from getting so hot she was kept inside the hangar until we were ready to depart. It's really hot here in August. We were charged for only the avgas. We will use VOLO again. Customer service... Outstanding! VOLO you Rock!

Stopped by on 3/1/08 to see this fairly new FBO and ask some questions about airport operations during the October airshow. Nicest FBO I've probably been in but I was shocked when they insisted on charging me $25 ramp fee when I was there for only about 15 minutes, most any other FBO would have waved the fee for that short of a stay. Even last week at KSAT all I bought was a quart of oil and paid no ramp fee.

Overnighted at Rocket Man on 12/11/07 in my twin turbine. While arrival to the airport is a challenge due to traffic, the ground experience made up for the hassle. Nice, new, ultra modern (though with a small lobby area) FBO with pleasant staff (we were met at the plane by the manager), both on the line and in the office. Fuel is as reasonable as it gets these days. No hidden charges that I find so annoying. Rental car waiting. We were offered water or a coke before leaving and on return. Not a bad commute to downtown or the galleria area. You are going against traffic going into town at 5. I imagine, though, that an early morning arrival could get ugly traffic wise. All in all, a very good experience.

Flew into Rocketman at EFD for the first time on 10/13/07 in our G-IV. Was very impressed with the excellent attentive service, immaculate facilities (complete with plasma TV's in the restroom), great jet fuel price, and ease of ATC arrival/departure without any delays. Other FBO's could learn a lot from Rocketman. We will be back whenever in the area, thanks for all the help Rocketman!

Flew my 172 into Ellington last week and was drawn to Rocketman by the lower fuel price. Was greeted by terrific ground crew and was provided excellent service. I quickly came to realize this is a place catering mainly to business jets and high class customers with their $60 hangar fee but offered outdoor space at $35 a night. They don't have any tie downs, as I discovered when I returned the following day to move to the service down the field at 1/3 the price (with actual tie downs) my plane and another were just sitting on the pavement. Big trouble if I had left it there with the Tropical Storm that blew near the next day. The service, staff and facility are top notch, but bring a hefty wallet.

Brand new facility, super nice people and cheap fuel! What more could you want? They even went and got lunch for me. Avoid the hassle of HOU and fly here and relax. Corporate pilots will really appreciate this place.

This is a great FBO. They have a brand new facility, still in the process of being outfitted, but state-of-the-art. They have a very large, immaculate hangar, super clean kitchen (with a stocked refrigerator -- sodas and water, were free), and the nicest staff we have run into. The manager, Buddy Roberts, stayed late after hours, due to our late departure time, without even the smallest protest. They have the best Jet-A price I have seen in recent time and pledge to keep it the lowest in Houston. We are a corporate jet operation, and visit quite a few FBO's a month. Rocket Man is the place to go in EFD. Our visit was 6/11/2007.

From my first phone conversation with Cindy at the desk until our departure, the entire crew at Rocket Man Jet Center was courteous, attentive (we went through several changes), and very knowledgeable. Our first trip to Houston, Cindy ensured we had directions to all of our business stops, including a last minute look up and prints out on the computer. From the line crew to Chance all were professional. The facility is new and has all the comforts, to include TV in the latrine (which was very clean). ATC was no-hassle both in- and out-bound. Our thanks - we will be back.

This brand new facility is a top-notch operation that is worthy of any pilot or aircraft. Rocket Man personnel understand the importance of customer service and are willing to go out of their way to keep their customers satisfied. Outstanding FBO facilities cater to pilots of all levels and surpass all standards for high-end FBO's. I highly recommend Rocket Man Jet Center if you are expecting to land at KEFD.
