Used KEMP as a fuel stop on May 22, 2008. Great fuel price although I see the latest price on AirNav is higher than what I paid. Must have just gotten a new fuel load in. Easy in-n-out.

How could these folks get any better? Even with self-serve the folks came out to make sure the pump instructions were clear, and helped us fuel up. Great smiles and great attitude, especially when we tried to get fuel 60 miles west at 47K and the woman there wanted us to wait an hour until she finished her lunch.

I can recommend this stop. Easy in/out in the C182. 24 hour access to flight planning/pc and break room! Plus FS (reg hours) or SS (24 hour) with both avgas and mogas at good rates.

Self serve gas with an excellent price, plus excellent service from Ken. The courtesy car just adds to the reason to stop here.

5/17/07. My first fuel stop on the way from KMQJ to KHND and I was quite surprised at how quickly the plane was refueled. Great service, lowest cost Avgas during the trip, and a nice clean FBO. Would not hesitate to make this stop in the future.

Emporia has been our refuel spot for our last four trips. If you want to experience Midwest hospitality at it’s best stop in and see these folks. Ken and his group are the best at helping in any way they can. We appreciate all the help.

Stopped overnight this past weekend. I was attracted by the low fuel prices, but was very pleasantly surprised by the clean, modern facility and excellent pilot lounge. Very nice place, very nice people. Best Western in town will pick up at the airport.

Stopped by May 22/06 for fuel, and to wait out a thunderstorm. Fuel was a great price, and friendly Ken was most helpful with fuel and providing a courtesy car to go for lunch. When I was stuck there past closing, before he went home for the evening, he was kind enough to check up on me and brief me on contacts and transportation should I be stuck there overnight. I had a great rest, and was on my way 5 hours later. Thanks Ken!!

Great stop. Borrowed the c-car for a trip to town & used the self-serve. Nice facility, friendly people. Just a great midwestern airport.

Great stop, wonderful service with very fair fuel prices. FBO provided a car and we drove into the city wich is much larger then one might think. Will be back soon!
