Excellent service. We didn't need fuel, but they made up for charging a $25 ramp fee by giving us a ride to and from the terminal to pick up/drop off our rental car, and putting the plane in the hangar overnight without being asked when storms moved through.Response from Bo Ballard, V.P. of Operations, Tri-State Aero Jonathan, It was a pleasure having you with us. I'm glad we were able to meet you needs and we look forward to serving you again in the future.

Was Charged $25 to use the Restroom because I didn't purchase fuel. UNBELIEVABLE!Response from Bo Ballard, V.P. of Operations, Tri-State Aero Jeremy, We do have a standard facility fee that is waived with a minimum fuel purchase. We understand that not all customers need to purchase fuel. This minimum fee allows our customers a choice, while enabling us to continue providing the service and facilities they expect. Please feel free to contact me directly at 812-426-1221. I would be more than happy to discuss this with you at your convenience.

Flew in yesterday in our PC12NG for a drop off. The line service was attentive to our needs and was quick to get us fueled and topped off. Went inside to use the facilities and grab a crew car for a quick bite to eat. Both cars were already being used so the customer service rep got on the phone and managed to round a car up for us to use. Talk about customer service! I've never had the opportunity to go to KEVV before but you bet I'll make an effort to get there when I can. Tri-State has great friendly professional staff that know to get the job done efficiently and effectually. Highly recommended!Response from Bo Ballard, V.P. of Operations, Tri-State Aero Janice, It was nice to meet you yesterday. We look forward to having you with us again soon!

I can't rave enough about the service I received at Tri State yesterday (Oct 10th). Stopped for fuel, desk personnel couldn't have been nicer. Then after starting up to go had an alternator CB keep popping. Mark, the DOM, got me right in and Jeremy dropped what he was doing to help me. They got me fixed and going even though they had a hangar full of work. I think they charged me for on hour of labor even though I was there longer. The gentlemen at the front desk were helping my wife with hotel, car, and restaurant info when we thought we might have to stay. The ground crews were equally helpful and accommodating. I will go out of my way to stop here for fuel, services from now on. Thank You!!!Response from Bo Ballard, V.P. of Operations, Tri-State Aero Kevin, Glad we could help! Hopefully we will see you and your wife again soon.

We flew into Tri-State Aero last Saturday afternoon with our PA-32, and couldn't be more pleased with the service we received. Kyle Boyd, Chris Fricke, and Mikel Hogg were so professional, helpful, friendly and fun! They had our rental car ready, (that Ethan had helped us with on the phone) and pleasantly accommodated our desire to rent hangar space for our plane. Then these three were such a help in giving us great advice about restaurants and hotels. We own two businesses, and love to acknowledge excellence when we experience employees who truly care. Kyle, Chris and Mikel, thanks so much for the very positive experience at Tri-State Aero. You three are skilled at great customer service!Response from Bo Ballard, V.P. of Operations, Tri-State Aero Larry and Norma, Thank you for your kind words. We are very proud of our staff here at Tri-State and are glad to be of service. We look forward to your return!

I come in here several times a month with students from a nearby flight school to introduce them to radar operations on our dual cross country flights and Tri-State Aero always makes for a good experience. Fast, friendly line (we always appreciate the windshield wipe down) attendants if we are in a hurry, and a crew car to run to the DQ next door if we aren't. The landlines to Clearance Delivery and ATIS are great for the students as well so that we can save a tenth or two of hobbs time getting out.Response from Bo Ballard, V.P. of Operations, Tri-State Aero Trace, Thank you for your comments and feedback. The next time you visit, be sure to let me know if there is anything additional we can do for you and your students.

Taxiing in here today I was greeted by so many smiling guys in blue shirts I thought I was getting ramp checked. Turned out they were Weimaraner lovers, and after a few minutes talking about dogs I was off to DQ in the crew car, which was less than a minute drive. Red carpet, Plexus'ed windshield, the works. Could have been out of there in 20 minutes with my healthy lunch but I was in no hurry. First rate FBO.Response from Bo Ballard, V.P. of Operations, Tri-State Aero Michael, Thank you for your kind words. Thanks for stopping in. Next time, bring some more pictures to share. Thanks Again!

I stopped Tri-State Aero on the way from CKB in WV to Tulsa, OK in February 2011. I was immediately impressed with the friendly service. Dave Seibert came out to meet us as we taxied in to the ramp after 2hr and 45 flight in headwinds and turbulence. We were hungry and the courtesy car was out. He gave me the keys to his personal truck to go for food about a mile down the road where there are numerous places to eat. The gas prices were high, but the service was fabulous and saved me money in the end. I decided to stop there on the return trip. We had to say overnight due to icing conditions. We were afforded an excellent hotel rate through the FBO and Dave arranged for me to "plug in" my crankcase preheater, supplying the extension cords and electricity at no charge. Sometimes there are intangibles in an FBO, which more than compensate for the "higher" fuel prices. Thanks for great service, Dave.Response from Bo Ballard, V.P. of Operations, Tri-State Aero Thanks for your kind words George. We are proud of Dave and all of our staff here. Our goal is to provide exceptional, personal service at a competitive price. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Working out of Evansville for a week in July. The line crew was very cautious with helping me move the helicopter in and out of the hangar, the fuel truck was always waiting for my arrival. The counter staff was very professional and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit.

I was in Evansville for 3 days last month- got great service from everyone at TriState, especially Jennifer, who not only got me an Enterprise car with 5 minutes notice, but also found me some hired labor to help with some heavy lifting at our worksite. Highly recommended!

Great fuel stop (and overnight, if necessary) on my typical route from Virginia to Western KS. With three runways, this facility reduces the number of times I have to demonstrate my limited crosswind techniques! As for FBO's, how many times have you gotten a HAND-WRITTEN thank you note? I did, from Tri-State, after a quick stop Labor Day weekend. Staff is helpful, checked on a hotel with a radio call, fueled us quickly, and the lounge even has a direct phone connection to Approach. With four hotels adjacent to the field, this is a great place to stop in.

I had to fly back to Evansville on business this week. I talked to Bo Ballard about the earlier problem we had with service. He was very pleasant to deal with and reviewed the previous charges. He gave us a generous discount on the bill. We are very happy with the outcome and will be returning to EVV often. Thanks again Bo.

Flew in one evening and thunderstorms developed overnight. The FBO pulled all transient aircraft in the hangar to protect them from possible hail damage. If I had not shown up at 7AM I would not even had known about it. By that time most were already back out. For service like this I do not mind paying a bit more for fuel.
