The Airport Grille at EWB is absolutely great. A truly awesome destination simply for a light lunch or for a delicious and elegant dinner. The interior design is awesome, the bar even has a built in "ice trough" to put your drinks to keep them ice cold. The best part? You can park right on the municipal ramp, and it's right there. No FBO ramp fee required. For all the IFR pilots, fly the runway 23 localizer back-course to keep your skills sharpened.

I've done the math, consulted with the wizards, scientists and historians. I've even gone as far as creating a pros and cons list. This is THE perfect place to fly into for a $100 hamburger for ANYONE within a 250mile radius. Yes, you read that right, 250 mile radius. Depending on what you are flying a 2 hour trip there is well worth it. The airport itself was a little sleepy for beautiful Saturday but that only added to the enjoyment. The entire airfield felt like it was ours. Plenty of open space parking. No need to park at or use the FBO unless of course you want to. Any new pilots looking for a new Xcountry spot this would be the perfect flight for them. A new spot, some added challenges but safety of a class D and less crowded.

Rumor was that The Airport Grille had closed; however, we flew in last week and had a terrific lunch. Not your typical airport restaurant. The menu is fantastic with great specials, and the place gets busy with local patrons. Getting in and out of KEWB was easy with the friendly controllers. A very worthy fly-in destination!

The BEST airport restaurant I've seen! Diners are good, this place is a real restaurant. Excellent food, complete with decor and presentation. A great trip with non-pilot passengers. I hope this place is around for a good long time. It's very apparent that lots of care and planning went into the place. I hope it does well!

Flew in today and had a wonderful meal. The place is beautifully renovated, the staff friendly and professional, and the food great! (love that chowder!) This is an upscale place and will be a favorite for many. Definitely worth going to.

I love the salads and the entrees - been there 3 times since it opened - the sandwiches leave a lot to be desired. I had one today - and friends the last 2x I was there - get the entrees, specials and soups - Fernando does a great job with those - recommend leave the sandwiches for a little further renovation.

The new restaurant in the terminal building had a grand opening on 10/8/09-same name, expanded in size. Didn't try it, as when I walked in to the building there were TV cameras, and dignitaries celebrating the grand opening!!! KEWB just got even better!

The Airport Grille is under new ownership and is currently getting ready to start construction on a new, larger restaurant. Same head chef, Fernando Dovale, same great food. ETA August/September '09. More updates, as the opening gets closer.
