Just wanted to say thank you for the great service on Sat., June 14, 2008. I was dropping off two passengers for an Angel Flight and the line-guy and desk worker were great. Cold water as we deplaned was fantastic! Also would like to thank you for offering a fuel discount for Angel Flights/Charity Flights!! Helps us be able to keep going when the fuel prices are so high.

From Ed Owens on 06-Apr-2008
Very good service. Line staff and counter people friendly and helpful. Nice facility too. Right across the street from a good restaurant. However, highest fuel prices on my trip.

From Chris Golden, N1488F on 27-Jan-2008
What a pleasant visit! Stopped here to overnight through some bad weather on a trip home with a new (to us) Skyhawk. Super friendly line guy, office staff reserved us two rooms at a nearby hotel (with a discount), internet access to check weather, a ride to the hotel, towed and tied us down. GREAT service!! Thanks!

Came in on a 172 amidst a flurry of Aero Commanders and a Citation. Didn't get the same treatment (Red carpet, flowers and water cooler) as the turboprops and jet got, but to be fair, neither did the Cirrus who landed right in front of me, and they were there to pick up a brand new SR-22. Line guys were very nice, let my passenger jump out and set him up undisturbed in their conference room for a two-hour phone meeting while I closed the plane. Would definitely recommend them. Oh yeah, and getting Indy Clearance Delivery loud and clear on the ground was priceless, too.

Great FBO...Landed before business hours...Ramp guy was there to get us in the crew car and on our way. The 1 hour time limit is a little steep, but they were willing to bend a little...No fees were charged and we were on our way. Top Notch facilities and staff. Thanks

From Michael McCurdy on 22-Jun-2007
We flew in during the race weekend, when things were getting very busy, yet the people at Eagle Creek treated us as well and efficiently as if we had landed in one of the many business jets, instead of our little Cherokee. Everyone was nice and accommodating and they even parked our plane away from the race traffic so we wouldn't be inconvenienced. Nice facilities and a class act- I will return.

From John Bradburn on 18-Jun-2007
Great FBO. Again, line folks meet ya at the plane (me and my C172) with a cooler full of cold water. Friendly attitude from everyone there from line staff, reception, and many others. The lobby was very clean, spacious, great flight planning area. Too much to comment on except all went well and I'll be back.

From Mark Edwards on 13-Jun-2007
I needed to visit Indy for several hours and they took good care of us. Friendly line guy, and 2 different receptionists inside. Yes, they met us on the ramp with a cooler full of cold water when we landed in my 172. Very nice facility inside and out. Self-service fuel at a good price was available but I missed it and asked them for 15 gallons a side, which they correctly provided by the time I returned to the airport. Taxi into downtown was quick to serve but not cheap. Recommended.

From David Cox on 09-Jun-2007
Hands down one of the best FBOs I have been to. Flew in with King Air and were greeted with water bottles. They had the rental car ready for the crew and information on our hotel reservation. The overnight fee was reasonable and great service. Will be back thanks!

From Richard Traunero on 08-May-2007
Excellent FBO! Met my plane with bottled water for everyone. Transferred an Angel Flight patient, ramp charge waived.

From Bill Zink on 13-Mar-2007
My wife and I flew in for dinner at Rick's. The FBO staff was very nice. I got some self-serve gas and was not charged the ramp fee. We even got some free bottles of water for our return trip home. We'll be back!

From Jonathan S. Lowrey on 23-Feb-2007
Flew in for a weekend conference at IU; very helpful desk and line personnel! Rental car was delivered to the aircraft, and the aircraft was immediately stowed in heated hangar... 36 hours and 4 inches of snow later, runways and ramps were clear for our departure. Thanks for your hospitality!

From Forrest Holly on 11-Dec-2006
Self-serve was easy to find and worked fine at 11 PM - right in front of the FBO, large lit BP sign. FBO was very responsive in prior email inquiry as to FBO hours. Closed after 8 PM this time of year, but the field next to the pumps is large and dark....

From Doyle McIntosh on 30-Oct-2006
For a short little day trip from Lafayette to Eagle Creek I took my family to lunch. We landed at Eagle Creek and were greeted with bottled water for everyone, and by a helpful lineman. Ate lunch at the restaurant that is not more than a hundred yards away from the ramp. The food and atmosphere was good, and will defiantly be making a trip back to this airport again!

From Nick Johnson on 08-Oct-2006
Flew in our Piper Arrow from I68.Saw Colts training camp. When we landed we were greeted with bottles of water. The terminal is very nice. Walked over to Ricks Boatyard Cafe and had a great lunch. Got back to the airport and left. Very good hospitality. Will come back

From Steve Bennett on 17-Sep-2006
Stopped to pick up a passenger, very nice FBO to deal with. Self-serve pump was easy to figure out and prices good. Lineman was helpful - offered a water bottle to each of us as we exited the plane. You can get a clearance from IND on the ground using radio.

From Fran Staben on 16-Aug-2006
This is definitely one of the best FBO's I have used. Everything said about it in the other raves is true. Service, friendliness, etc. Are all great. Had a minor avionics problem (PTT switch), and it was taken care of during our one-day stay. The atmosphere and food across the street at Rick's was wonderful also. I would go no other place in Indy.

From Chris Blair on 15-Aug-2006
Landed at Eagle Creek today for some business. Was the best service I have ever had. Upon exiting the plane I had a lineman there waiting to hand my three passengers and I bottles of water. We then went across the street and ate at Ricks Cafe, a little pricey, but it was worth it. The food and view was fabulous. We ate while overlooking the lake. Very pleasant experience. Will definitely go back, if nothing else, just for a 100.00 burger.

From Reid Vann on 03-Jul-2006
We flew our Mooney into Eagle Creek June 30th for the Formula One Race. We were greeted and offered bottled water as we exited the plane. The line crew and the office personnel were both friendly and helpful. They helped us get a cab and sent us off with extra water. When we left July 2nd they took our luggage and us in an air-conditioned van to the plane. We will use them whenever we fly into Indianapolis.

From Ryan Wheeler on 19-Jun-2006
Stopped at EYE to eat at Ricks. Everyone was real friendly and helpful. The ramp fee for a single engine was $5. The only problem that I saw was that Colts owner Jim Irsay's helicopter decided to take off from the ramp area. I wouldn’t have wanted to own the Cirrus that was nearby. The controls were flipping back and forth pretty hard. Luckily, we were parked in a tie down spot further away from the FBO since we were staying to eat.

From Chris Head on 31-May-2006
Used EYE again for the Indy 500. Seems that each time we go there is a different set of fees, which may or may not be under their control. Regardless, it is not an outrageous amount, and the facilities and the staff are impeccable, always quick to respond to your needs!!

From Clark Tesh on 29-May-2006
I arrived at the Eagle Creek Airport on Saturday May 27th for the Indianapolis 500 Race. In years past my travels brought me to Eagle many times. To my amazement they remembered my aircraft. When I decided to go to Indy I checked the comments for KEYE and was disturbed to find some negative comments. There was nothing negative about this trip. We were greeted as soon as we pulled up and offered bottle water, as it was quite hot on the ramp. Our rental car was their waiting for us. When we departed, they towed us to the self-serve fuel pump and assisted with its operation where the price was very reasonable. The best self serve facility that I have found. I fly a Navajo and most facilities have very slow output. Not Eagle Creek. Very fast pump. Thanks a lot Eagle Creek. I will return.

From Brent Sears on 10-May-2006
I will have ALL flight students AVIOD EYE on their X-country flights. They are charging $10 just to walk in the door to get a drink. Get real folks. Just a couple of years ago it was a nice place to go and stop in at Ricks (which is still great).

From Steven J. Coulter, MD on 26-Mar-2006
What a great stop! The line crew was friendly and helpful. Because we were an Angel flight, the FBO gave us a generous discount on fuel. Walked across the street to Rick's and had some great seafood to live jazz music. Can't wait to go back again. Higly recommend Eagle Creek.

From Pete Crawford on 13-Mar-2006
As of Jan. '06, they started charging $20 to drive the fuel truck to fuel at the hangars, (a whole 30 seconds away) for purchase less than 20 gal. As my flying club requires aircraft to be put away full, this is quite a headache if you come in after hours. Previously, you could call in the order and they would fill it at the hangar. These folks may be nice to the visitors, but all they really want to do is work on Aero Commanders. I've switched to buying all my fuel at Hendricks Co. (2R2), at the self-service pumps where it's about $0.50 cheaper and you don't have to wait on them.

From Richard Lawrence on 08-Feb-2006
We continue to use EYE as a linking airport for Angel Flights and flights for Lifeline Pilots and find that they provide excellent support. They are always cheerful, helpful and they provide a good fuel discount. Rick's Boatyard Cafe across the street has a wide variety of excellent food, and it is on the shore of a lake- nice view. The Indy TRACON has a remote receiver that serves the field so getting a clearance is easy. Thank you Cathy Hagans and others at Eagle Creek Aviation Services for your support!

From Martin Mattes on 01-Oct-2005
What more could you want, fast, friendly line crew, pretty girl behind the counter, clean washroom and perfect flight planning facility...the way it should be!!!

From Richard Murray on 22-Jul-2005
Excellent facillities and staff. Receptionist was very capable and saw to our every request. Line crew greeted us and identified our needs as we exited the aircraft.

From Fabrizio Sommazzi on 13-Jul-2005
Stayed overnight over the weekend. Service and facilities are very nice. Approximately 20' from downtown, a $25 cab ride. By the way: I didn't expect downtown Indianapolis to be so nice...I was really positively surprised!
