This airport was a fantastic experience. It was memorable to see the reservoir near the runway and to eat at the nice restaurant located on its banks (recommend). The body of water was helpful, somewhat, in locating the airport from a distance. Upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted with bottled water and friendly service. When flying in, be aware that the International Airport (KIND) is only 7 nautical miles south of Eagle Creek. Downtown Indianapolis is only a 20-25 minute car ride away.

Nice FBO and facilities. Stopped in for dinner in my Bonanza. Nice staff and line guy was out to meet me to ask if I needed anything. Used to stop in and get offered bottles of water but overall nice place to fly to for dinner?

Excellent service! Arrived for the Brickyard 400 race in a C182. It was 90 degrees. Line crew brought ice-cold bottled water to our plane. Taxis were waiting in the parking lot for this special event. The FBO offered great hospitality with a free lunch for pilots flying in for the race. The pilot's lounge is comfortable and has an adjacent sleeping room that can accommodate two pilots. A previous commenter wrote that there is no computer besides the WSI weather computer, but that's incorrect. There is another public computer that can access Internet and print, located in a different room. There is wireless Internet. The line crew took excellent care of our airplane, fueling it as requested, towing it to a tiedown, tying it down very well, and chocking two wheels. I was able to pick up an IFR clearance on 128.6 with no problem. I would definitely recommend this airport and FBO.

Landed at 5:00am. Found self-service pump not powered. Had to relocate to IND Signature in order to keep schedule. Good thing I had reserves.

Stopped here on 10-27-10 and was greeted by a friendly lineman. The person behind the desk called me a cab and took my fuel order. The only complaint I have is that this FBO did not have computers for pilots with a printer to use. They do have a WSI weather computer, but it would be nice to be able to print out some airport diagrams for your next destination.

We frequently use this airport for our visit to Indy. I found everyone (line men and ladies at the counter) friendly and helpful. A few visits ago on a Sunday afternoon we had a flat tire. They went their way out to help us. The self-serve fuel is cheaper than those in a lot of small airports.

We came in on a Friday night about 11pm. Called in the next day and told them whose plane it was that arrived on their ramp and told them that we would be flying out Sunday afternoon. When we arrived on Sunday to leave, the lady at the desk was very nice, had them fuel the plane, the ramp guy gave me a ride out to the plane on his way to fuel it, and they allowed my son and his wife to walk us out to the plane before we left. All this and no tiedown fee for being parked there for 2 days. Will definitely be back.

Overall this is a great FBO with great service. It is the kind of place where the line guys pull up your aircraft before you ask. The only question mark I had was how the CSR was not friendly towards a grandpa and his grandchildren who I let through the gate to see our King Air Aircraft. Sleepy little airport, no need for ramp police.

Stopped here for fuel and lunch enroute to St. Louis from Pittsburgh. Lineman was there to marshall us in, very friendly, offered us cold water. We walked across the street to the restaurant on the lake and had a good meal. EYE was easy to find coming in VFR being next to the lake. Staff at Eagle Creek was super helpful and the FBO was immaculate, no landing or ramp fees either for our Archer. Would definitely stop in again when our travels take us out west.

I have linked at EYE on Angel and Compassion flights many times. The staff is very good- helpful, considerate. They currently provide a $.66 fuel discount (off 100LL full serve or Jet A). Rick's Boatyard Cafe across the street has excellent food. It is a little pricey but the quality and quantity makes it a good value. At times the service can be slow. Setting is nice with lake view or deck seating available in warmer weather.

I've been to EYE to eat across the street at Rick's (which is fantastic) a few times and have had generally very good service. I really like the water bottles at the door of the plane on a hot day. Great line service. Inside was a different story though. I walked up to the front desk and the first thing the CSR said was "There's a landing fee." No hello, no how are you. I told her that I wanted our Malibu filled to the first notch (which I had already showed the lineman outside) and she looked at me like I was asking for something absurd. The lady on the way out was much nicer. All in all, I'll be back, but if I'm just stopping for lunch I might forego the free water for the self-serve pump.

I was in town for some training, and Eagle Creek took very nice care of my 182. Rental car through National was easy to set up through the FBO front desk and was very nice. Fueling was quick and accurate.

These folks were really nice from the time I pulled up on the ramp in my Cirrus (N362SR) for the Final Four, until I left two days later. It's one of the closest private airports to downtown Indy and far better than having to mess with the commercial traffic at KIND. Nice location and Nice people.

Great FBO, both facility and staff. Lineman met us with a bottle of water and seemed genuinely glad to see us, even in our Skyhawk...NOT Gulfstream! Flying on a budget, the fuel prices were good and appreciate the 50cents off for self-service. Tie down fee waived with fuel purchase, as they should be everywhere. A+++ Highly Recommended

Specifically told two linemen and the desk attendant to fill tanks to the tabs. Instead, they filled both tanks to the top. Please educate your staff as what to the tabs means. Otherwise, a very nicely furnished FBO with a good restaurant across the street. I then received a very prompt call from the manager apologizing and promising to makes thing right upon my next visit. I will return, as this is a nice airport.

Very nice place, and the boathouse is awesome. One bad note: lineservice was very unprofessional, and border line to rude. We flew a new sr22, and did not get marshalled right, and then the line guy just walked away. Next time we will use the self-parking, and self fuel service. It is sad to see untrained, und unprofessional line guys in such a pretty place. Response from Andrew W. Thimlar, President Eagle Creek Aviation Services Dear Mr. Harisberger, we appreciate your stopping at EYE and apologize for the less than professional service to which you referred. I assure you that is not who we are and not the way we conduct business. If you will call me at (317)293-6935 and give me some additional information regarding the date you were here and the N number of your aircraft I will take appropriate action to make sure this is addressed. Let me know when you are coming back to EYE so that we can make things right.

This was a great FBO to stop at. Had just shut the engines off and someone was there with cool water bottles for everyone. Rental car was under the wing with in a minute-just great service and reasonable fuel. The restaurant next to the airport looks great-didn't have time on this trip but may be making a $100 hamburger flight there just for the great service and anticipating great food....

The service here is top notch. I flew in, in my little 4-seat single, and was given all the treatment of a turbine. Taxis were waiting, the line crew was friendly and smiling, and the facilities were perfect. When we departed in the rain, they drove us to our plane in a car to avoid having our luggage get wet. A great place, reasonable prices, and very convenient to downtown. A+

We stop our N900NE Turbo Commander here as often as practical for the great fuel price, quick in and out and efficient staffing. Always fun to see what the Turbo Commander gurus here have in the works too. Very good facilities for crew and passengers alike and a great-food place, Rick's Boathouse, about 200 yards away.
