Flew in on a Sunday morning for fuel. No help on hand. Took 3 different people to figure out how to turn on pump 1. They need better instructions and show where the on/off switch is. Don Laurila KTRM

Excellent service as usual from Memley. Rental car was waiting. No problems with the self-serve fuel - easy to use. Enjoyed an excellent lunch at Mak's Landing next door to Memley. The restaurant's art deco architecture and view of the airport are great!

Remembering my positive experience last year I decided to use this place again last week for refueling. Still a positive experience. The self-serve fuel system can still be a little tricky, but a line guy came over and took care of it. He mentioned he keeps trying to cover up the inapplicable parts of the instructions with a marker, but it keeps fading.

Flew in on Sunday 3/15/09 for some avgas and lunch. We did not stop by the FBO, but we walked about 15--20 minutes east to a mall, which had plenty of fast-food restaurants. Fuel was as advertised ($3.89/gallon for 100LL). Runway and tiedown areas are in good shape, as are the fuel pumps. Definitely a much cheaper alternative to Fresno Int'l.

As in the previous post, Linda arranged for a Sunday rental car - excellent service. KFCH is very convenient to downtown Fresno and Clovis is a short drive via Hwy. 41 Freeway. The restored art deco terminal, Memley, self-serve fuel, and transient tie-down are all a few steps from each other. Very quick and easy. I highly recommend KFCH and Memley Aviation.

We called Linda a few days before arrival to arrange a rental car on a Sunday. Since Memley Aviation and Enterprise would be closed upon our arrival, Linda had the car delivered a day early. She called us giving us the gate code and lock box info and parked the car in a secure area. Everything went very smoothly, thanks to her attention to detail.

The Memleys are awesome. I was flying into Fresno last week for fuel and called ahead to see about hours of operation. Although the fuel is self-service the Memleys stayed past their regular closing time to meet me, show me the idiosyncrasies of the fueling system, and let me use their wireless internet so that I could flight plan from my laptop.

Flew into KFCH on Monday 5/19/08 in the afternoon. Linda had the car waiting and everything was better than expected. Nice GA FBO. On departure spoke with CFI and Mr. Memley about departure expectations in high winds, very knowledgeable and accurate. We will be back!

July 27, 2007 dropped in about 1PM and found the restaurant open again! It's now Maks Landing, and you won't regret stopping for Breakfast or Lunch. The entire old terminal is being redone - inside and out. Didn't buy gas, but the runway and ramps are fine, and Memley's is in a cute Hacienda building with parking right out front next to the pumps. Next door to the Restaurant. Don't give up on Chandler!

From John Trudel on 28-Nov-2006
Not a good deal. The fuel is expensive and the restaurant is closed, as is one runway. It's an old and declining airport that has seen better days. I'd look for better options for a stop.
