Arrived while ferrying a Citabria on a quick turn due to weather and darkness approaching. Airport is in great shape, fuel is easy to get to, and facilities are nice. Line personnel where not around until I was walking out the door but it was a good experience with reasonably priced fuel.

Facilities good, clean with friendly people but be careful of letting them handle your aircraft. Requested hangar space after parking aircraft on ramp due to possible thunderstorms that night. After I departed for the night, they pulled my Glasair III aircraft with a clamshell on the nose gear but failed to raise it off the ground. Pulled aircraft, dragging my NLG tire until ruined. Ground off a large part (large flat spot, almost down to cord). To their credit they did inform me before flight and waived overnight hangar storage fee but trashed my $150.00 NLG tire that I had to replace next landing. They apologized.

We've made this our fuel stop enroute to Charleston for two years- at least 8 stops. Self serve is the best laid out I've seen- lots of room, good equipment, and reasonable price. Facilities very good as well- clean, ice machine, good nap room. Staff will take you almost anywhere you need to go. HIGHLY recommended.

Stopped here for avgas on the way to the Chicago area. Avgas price is very competitive, and it’s easy to get in and out of this airport. The FBO was manned by a friendly lady and the airport had clean restrooms and a PC to check flight info.

Nice field. Despite the misinformation here, the FBO is open from 6am TO 10pm now due to some military refueling contracts that they have. The woman staffing it the other day gave us a quick ride over to the Hampton Inn. 24Hour self serve 100LL and JET A or they'll send the truck over. Free water given out on this 95+ degree day.

The Airport Manager (Mr. Vedelli) was present on our arrival and even confirmed our rental car on CTAF. He pushed the 182 into its parking spot (!) while lineman shuttled us to the FBO. Good service and good fuel prices. Thanks everyone!

Arrived Monday afternoon and found two local hotels full. FBO helped find one for my wife and I then drove us there. Picked up the next morning by Airport Manager. Great service, great facility. Great hospitality.

A big Thanks to Jan (and the other great line people at Capital City Airport) for taking care of us so well. We landed our Commander 114 on a bitterly cold day and were treated to a heated hangar, ride to and from our hotel, and an overall 'we'll do anything we can to help' attitude. What a fantastic experience for our first visit to Kentucky!

Great service and prices. Team assisted with self service fuel, placed plane in hangar and plugged in the engine heater ... At extremely reasonable prices.

We have been stopping here in a Lear 25 for over a year now and couldn't possibly be happier. Outstanding fuel prices and service. We always come through for a quick turn and find line service hooked up to the GPU waiting for us and the fuel truck in position for immediate fueling every time. OUTSTANDING! Thanks Jay and team for the great service!

Great service and fuel prices!!! Troy Gaines offered a ride to the hotel when I found out there was no shuttle service. They also picked me up from the hotel on my departure date. I will definitely stop here again!!!

I operate a Lear 25 and have been looking for the ideal fuel stop between central TX and New York for a year now and have finally found that spot. Great quick turns, friendly staff, and nice facilities. We have already been through 4 times and would definitely recommend Capital City to anyone. Thanks guys!

Stopped for fuel and lunch. They do not have a crew car, but the nice lady working the desk took us to the White Light Diner. Rick had officially "closed" about one hour before we arrived, but he opened the door for us and the food was FANTASTIC! Thanks to Rick & Slim for your hospitality. Very nice FBO. Certainly worth the stop.
