I arrived at Malloy on Friday morning May 6th for breakfast at Malloy's Cafe. Unexpectedly, the FBO announced that they are now enforcing the Suffolk County landing (or parking) fee. I am a flight instructor and I have been using the cafe as a place to debrief the students and to support the local economy. Flight instruction is expensive and to add the fee to the student's bill is unfair. Prior to using this FBO I would suggest that you should contact them and find out the status of the fees.

Arrived on a cold Saturday with a flat tire. The guys at Malloy Air East did a great job of helping us all day as the search went on to find both a tire and mechanic to put it on. The mechanic was local and did a wonderful job especially considering the snow and ice covered ramp, sub freezing temps, and brisk wind. Thanks to all for getting us airborne again. A side note, if you like Cheesecake, there is a cheesecake factory just a few yards from the FBO... Good stuff!
