Gas prices at APP are way up there.. And receptionist service was almost as if they'd rather I go someplace else.. Wasn't happy today..

Stopped on our way to and from the Bahamas over Thanksgiving week. Great service and good food. A big shout out to the friendly US Customs folks who made the entry totally painless. The best gateway to the Bahamas IMHO!

A perfect 10!! Helped unload bags for trip into Customs; then, offered to reloaded bags into aircraft while we went for burgers. Upon departure, left purse on ramp containing large amounts of cash, passports for group, etc... After a few frantic phone calls from us (in Atlanta), bag was located on runway, packaged and sent via FedEx same day to Atlanta. Bag just arrived, and ALL contents are intact. General Aviation at it's finest!

I was here on my way to Freeport, Bahamas. APP Jet Center folks were great! We had a good meal at the Airport Tiki right in the FBO (Great food-decent prices). Highly recommended.

Flew in and didn't need anything but a rental car. I phoned the night before and advised them my time of intended arrival. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Will use again...

We used Ft Pierce for our launch point to the Bahamas over the Easter week...We called in advance and set up the paperwork and life raft. APP set us up with their rental car/hotel package so we could launch early the next morning...Upon return they helped us as we cleared customs and then had a great burger at the Tikki before starting our trek home...I highly recommend APP

Stopped by on the way to/from the Bahamas. We rented our life jackets and raft from here (lower cost then KFLL). They helped us with all our forms since it was our first time out. Overall very good service. We also had lunch at the Tiki, which was excellent.

Stopped both outbound and inbound from Bahamas. As always, great FBO and service. But be aware, ramp fuel price was $4.94 for full service if you don't ask. But they will match or beat the price of the other FBO truck (which is often waiting at Customs) if you call and ask. (We paid $4.25 from the truck from the other FBO folks looking for business.) Afterwards, the line guys at APP said they would beat that price or charge the self serve price. Just keep in mind, don't ask don't tell costs you a lot more!

Best FBO I've experienced anywhere, especially if you are going to Bahamas. Great restaurant inside FBO. No ramp fees and they have everything you need right there and they will even help with paperwork outbound and meet you at customs next door and help with bags and bring plane over after you clear. Pay your fuel bill and food bill at counter!

Stopped in early Aug for trip to the Bahamas (MYAT) AWESOME service! Stopped in to quick turn to the Bahamas. I was set up with my life raft and life preservers quickly, they fueled the airplane and I was on my way. Had a great time in Treasure Cay then came back through APP again. They helped me with my bags up into customs and gave me tips since I had not been through customs in FL before. They have great service, quick and friendly. Thanks guys!

A friend and I wanted a $100 hamburger so I look on here to find a decent place and go. Found APP and the Tiki restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. Called on Unicom about 10 mins before landing and a young lady met us on the ramp and showed us where to park. We went inside and enjoyed a very tasty breakfast. Less than $15 for two people. Overall a very pleasant experience. We will be back for sure!

Flew in on July 15 to find that the FBO's pilot lounge is under construction. All that was available were two chairs in front of the construction tarp or the option to sit in the restaurant. If you're planning on waiting, you might want to rent a car or book a day room off-site. It would have been nice of the FBO to advise in advance, not exactly what we expect from CAA.Response from Christopher Hambleton, General Manager , APP Jet Center Fort Pierce I am sorry to hear that our facility was less than you expected Mr. Howard. We did alert many of our clients to the upcoming construction, including signs in the facility for quite some time. As always, construction is a good thing. Once it is complete, our facility will once again have numerous areas to kick back and relax. If you are ever less than satisfied on any visit, then please do not hesitate to find me.

What a great jumping off point for the Bahamas. Outbound and inbound went off without a hitch. The customs officer was friendly and we were clear in no time. Lunch at the Tiki was great too. I can't say enough good things about this operation.

Stopped enroute to the Bahamas. Nice people, cheapest life vest and raft rental we could find (1/2 the price at FXE). Fuel was a bit expensive, but we did not need much. Restaurant in the FBO was good and seemed to be a popular lunch spot. On the return flight, Customs must have thought we were drug dealers... A dog checked out the plane, and they x-rayed all our stuff, but otherwise uneventful

We departed from there after renting a life raft, refueling and eating. It was clean, professionally run and reasonably priced. On our return leg they met us at customs with a luggage cart and towed the plane over to the FBO. After customs, we returned the raft, ate lunch and refueled. It was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it.

Excellent service from Volo. Used Volo when returning from the Bahamas and would HIGHLY recommend using them. I e-mailed them the previous day, let them know I was coming in, and needed a quick turn and some sandwiches. Radioed them about 15 minutes out and they had a line guy waiting in the box for us with a luggage cart. He assisted in unloading the plane, took the luggage into customs for us and had us fueled in no time. They even had boxed lunches waiting for us in the FBO. Customs, potty break, filed flight plan, settled up with Volo and was back in the air in 40 minutes. THAT'S service! Thank you, Volo!

Volo Aviation is a must stop. One of the best overall experiences I have ever had at any FBO. If you're looking to fly over the big water to the Bahamas, use VOLO. Convenient, fantastic staff, great food in the restaurant, it's all there.

Selected Volo Aviation based on comments here on AirNav. I wasn't disappointed. Line guys blocked us in and fueled us up immediately. When Gigi found out we were going to the Bahamas she asked all the right questions and provided us with the Bahaman customs forms we would need upon arrival. The restaurant was quick with service and the food was good. I would certainly return to Volo on my next trip. Thanks, Brian & Sarah Kilpatrick

I have been flying for years and generally do not take time to write comments for good service (I should). I have become so use to good service that I take it for granted, so believe me when I tell you that the service at this FBO is outstanding! When we landed at customs the FBO had someone there to help us with our baggage! We were delayed for a couple of hours due to weather so a extremely nice gentleman named Tom let us borrow a courtesy car to town for dinner and gave us recommendations/directions a restaurant. In our rush to leave when we got back my wife and I left a notebook in the car that had our passports and a pair of sunglasses. We did not realize this until the next morning back in TN. I called the FBO and Tom found our stuff and mailed them back to us. Tom was extremely friendly and helpful. I don't know who the manager is but if he reads this post I hope he gives Tom a big raise because this young man's helpfulness and attitude is what makes lifetime customers.

Went through Volo, to and from the Bahamas last week and the service and support were great. Spoke with Gigi several times before arriving and she and all the staff were great. Having the restaurant right there was very convenient, as well. This is one FBO that is doing it right.

Stopped in going to and from Freeport - very good service and very helpful staff. Self-Serve gas pump easy to use and prices very good. For a small fee they will help you with all Customs and Bahamian paperwork - its worth it. Life rafts only $18 per day - be sure to reserve in advance.

Flew into Fort Pierce for departure and floatation equipment to the Bahamas. Sure glad I did! My eapis did not go through and Gigi at Volo Aviation was a tremendous help. The CBP website is definitely not user friendly! On the return visit the lineman pulled the plane from the customs parking area and refuel while we ate lunch at the TIKI restaurant adjacent to Volo. I never asked what the fuel prices were because at that point I was already a sold customer. I would recommend this departure to the Bahamas to anyone. Thank you Volo Response from Genevieve Hazle, Lead CSR, Volo Aviation Fort Pierce (formerly Ft. Pierce Jet Ce Dear Mr. Barder, Thank you very much for your great feedback. It was our pleasure to be able to help make your trip a memorable one. In addition to striving towards providing all of our clients with excellent service and attention, we also offer fuel prices well below industry average in our area. We look forward to seeing you again!! Thanks a bunch, Genevieve "Gigi" Hazle Lead CSR Volo Ft. Pierce

The PERFECT stop for a Bahamas trip - Outbound they provide all forms for both Bahamas customs as well as for US customs. They also provide all available information regarding facilities and just generally have a 'willing to help' attitude...All without charging a penny! Additionally the Tiki Hut is a great place to grab some food for the trip.
