Nice airport, friendly folks. SS pump, but they filled it for us anyway. Well maintained. Very quiet when we were there but I hear the casino is increasing traffic.

Great Airport with Great access to Patoka Lake. Woman in airport office claims not to know phone number to Nick's maintenance shop on the airport.... One would think the airport office should know the number to reach the maintenance facility on their own field. Anyway, I reached him at 812-871-6418 after getting the phone number from this site.

What a great airport. I called 10 miles inbound and the airport staff (Levita) called the West Baden Resort for transportation before I landed. Plenty of parking (looks like they just expanded their parking area). Bring your own ropes during busy season, they appear to be limited. Highly recommended stop.

Flew in today for lunch and sightseeing at nearby French Lick Resort & Casino. Great scenery around airport and very friendly and helpful staff at FBO. Ground transportation was quick and easy. Perfect day trip location.

Beautiful countryside; the leaves are turning and are at their peak! Nice airport; some apron construction underway. Nick, the airport manager was very helpful. We called ahead from KMOB with about five hours notice for a rental car. Our arrival was after 2000 hrs local; dark and raining. Nick saw us land from his home and within a few minutes he was there; he drove our rental car out to the plane and then helped us transfer the luggage to our vehicle. He provided a map to our destination, a local resort. We are very pleased our first experience in southern Indiana.

Beautiful approach in the mountains, but no body home at the FBO, running errands the sign said. Grabbed fuel and was on my way.
