Use the SS Pump often at FRR. Avgas now $4.25/gal. Fast and efficient. FRR has a small military display in the FBO terminal--interesting and informative. Watch out for the gliders though.

I used the self-serve terminal today at FRR. Good price 4.15 (as advertised). They have a nice new SS terminal computer. Very easy to use.

FBO staff is quite competent and exceptionally helpful. The potential for bad weather required that I delay my flight by a day, and Reginald kept me informed as to the situation there. Very friendly and courteous people. Local terrain is beautiful and can be challenging due to the mountain wind stream. If approached from the south, ATC will require at least 5000' which makes it important to descend quickly for the pattern. Great experience.

Neat place to stop. Friendly FBO. Cool stuff to look at too. FYI on a busy day - If you want to depart to the east, the taxiway is under construction and you have to use the runway for a bit to get down to the very end.

Great view; fun to visit. Read up on mountain flying: the drafts can challenge you.

Stopped in September 28th for 30 gallons; price was competitive. Very convenient for filing ADIZ penetration flight plans. Friendly service. Great location and views.
