The Jet A here has to be getting pretty old now...Be careful.

There is no 100LL fuel at FWN, hasn't been for some time, finally has been NOTAM'd. Don't expect the south taxiway to be done and usable anytime soon.

No 100LL Fuel until further notice

No parking for larger aircraft. Jet fuel pump does not operate properly. Bee's nest and swarms at airport, so you'll be careful. Ladies restroom at airport reported not usable - suggest using rest rooms at Diner.

Taxiways in very poor condition although they are repaving one now. People walking down the runway on an evening walk! Runway in below average condition. Cheap and easy SS fuel. No frills airport.

Stopped by for fuel and thanks to the previous comments back taxied on the runway. They seem to be doing work on the taxiways but with no note of it I could find. There was a truck on the taxiway I was going to use hence the back taxi, seemingly fixing potholes in the taxiway. The fuel pump is easy to use with two separate hoses a first for me at a GA airport offering self serve, so I didn't have to wait for the other plane that was there to finish fueling to fill up, very nice. The fuel price was 5 cents higher than posted here, but the price as of now is correct at. If the prices stay competitive I'll be back.

Watch out for gravel on the taxiway!

I learned to fly at Sussex and worked for both Paul and Leo way back. I had not been back in more than 10 years. It was great to see Paul and friends. The Diner and food was great! I'm happy to say that it is still the same friendly cozy place. I can't wait to go back!

Diner is under new management, and it's terrific. Just had a great breakfast of eggs, home fries, and toast for a whopping $1.99! Outstanding food and service! The airport could use a bit of attention, however, as it's difficult to know where to park (How about painting "TRANSIENT" on a few spots?), taxiways are crumbling, fuel island is a mess, and the whole place could stand a makeover. It's still one of the best airports around, a remnant of the "golden age" if there ever was one.

Diner is indeed cozy. One of the best Philly Cheesesteaks I've ever had. Airport is beginning to show signs of inattention. Right now it's just a matter of cosmetics, like a sound house with the paint chipping off.
