Wow - what friendly folks. We were promptly greeted upon arrival. The attendant helped us tie down, get fuel and offered us water. We stayed for a while to relax and get in from the heat. We had some great conversation and felt like we were at our own home airport. Cheapest gas we have seen in a long time. We highly recommend this airport for a stop.

Stopped in last Sunday to watch The Masters with my Dad. Granbury airport goes above and beyond. Everything is clean and organized. Guy had both my wings tied down before I could get out of the plane. Great fuel prices, multiple courtesy cars.

Simply put - The friendliest airport in Texas.

What a great airport with great people and the fuel prices were right. Highly recommend stopping at Granbury Regional...I know that I will be back.

This is my home-base airport and I live in Granbury. It's a great little airport with friendly service, fair fuel prices, and 4 courtesy cars. The town is great to explore...Tons of dining. Pastafina has great Italian, Babe's Chicken is popular for dinner, Hoffbrau Steakhouse is consistently good, etc. Shane is the mechanic on the field. He's good and fair. SkyTec has their entire facility on the field. There are several CFI's and a flight school. It's one of the regional bases for the Texas Forest Service. Careflite also has a med-evac based here. Come visit us!

I stopped by twice yesterday for fuel. Both times I was greeted by a polite young man that serviced the airplane for me. It was nice to get good service and the best price around at the same time. Highly recommended.

Great airport with great folks running it. Plenty of courtesy cars and lots of fantastic places to eat. Try The Rib Shack on the Acton Hwy. Best ribs I've had anywhere in the country. Cheaper fuel within 20 miles? Yep. Better service, more courtesy cars, unlimited choices where to eat? Nope.

Excellent FBO and fuel prices. Took one of many courtesy cars to town, it's just a left turn out of the airport and a 5 min drive. Found a great little bakery on the square called the Nutshell Bakery and Eatery. Great prices and great food. Their coffee can't be beat. We'll definitely be back!

Simply one of the best maintained, operated, and friendly airports I have ever been to. John and the others are a genuine asset to the airport and the City!

Flew up to Granbury for the day to visit old friends. Great little airport with friendly manager and nice facilities. Two box PAPI on 14 is bright and clear if you need it. Well maintained. I'll be back!

Granbury is surely one of the most pilot-friendly airports in the USA. The spiffy facilities include a pilots lounge, a pilots shower even, Internet computer, and usually coffee and donuts for the taking. Well-maintained airport cars are available so plan on doing lunch or something.

I flew in for fuel on 1-1-2011. The price on AirNav is advertised at $3.62. The actual cost is $3.72. Still a good price but there are cheaper within 20 miles....

GDJ has always been a good stop for fuel and food. I have become addicted to the hamburgers at Grumps. Ask the local pilots for directions or call Grumps for directions at 817/573-5000. I keep their number in my phone so I can call from the airport and my burger will be ready when I arrive.

Stopped in on x-country trip from Denver City TX to Monroe LA...Nice clean, user friendly facility. Greeted at pump to refuel my Cherokee 180. For some reason, Fuel pump was set up by line guy but I had to pump the fuel into my tank. Nice large clean outside bathroom, requires code so call ahead if need after hours. Bathroom and shower inside FBO w/pilots quiet lounge. Many pilots around this place. Good service very friendly talkative people. GREAT FUEL PRICES $3.45 per gallon. I will be back. Thanks Granbury!
