I cannot agree more with everyone, this airport is great. It stays open later, has more courtesy cars, low fuel prices and great restaurants to visit. If you are looking for an excuse to fly somewhere with friends or family, Granbury is a great place. I have been in here three times in the past two months.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at this airport. To start with they have four courtesy cars. Call ahead to make arrangements for a key. Runway and taxiway in good condition. A very comfortable hotel was recommended that was perfectly happy to accommodate my very late night arrival. The town itself is lovely with several nice restaurants and many shops. Many pilots hanging out around the field the next morning. There seems to be a very positive feeling about this field and I was very pleased to give them my business. The service I was given far exceeded what they would have earned from my fuel and oil purchase. They are clearly trying very hard and it is appreciated.

Easy in, easy out self-service fueling. Can't beat $2.55/gal. There's no grounding cable at the fuel pump, and the folks there don't seem worried about it.

I keep my Cherokee at GDJ. It's a great group of people, a clean and modern FBO facility, fair fuel prices (available 24/7), quite a number of loaner cars, and Granbury is such a neat town to visit. The downtown square, restaurants, movie theatre, and more will keep anyone entertained for the weekend.

I stopped there twice on my trip from Albuquerque N.M. To St. Augustine Fl. Great fuel stop. The office is brand new and even has showers for the pilots. The lady there was as nice as could be. I will be going frequently to the Dallas area and will always stop here for the Fuel and friendly service.

What a gem of an airport, and unbeatable fuel prices, too! Very nice folks, and a shiny new facility. Word has it they'll be getting a new longer runway and an approach.

Stopped by again, same weekend one year later. I was greeted personally by name! Same great place! This is an airport that is the fabric of America, and everyone should stop by and see what an airport should be. Fuel price is unbeatable, and I was able to take a full load of 1, 098lbs of fuel, and full payload out in my C340A from this runway.

Stayed for two nights over the July 4th holiday. No tie down charge. Great service. Let me use me their PC, loaned me a raincoat to use while fueling my A/C and even held an umbrella while I boarded. Best FBO I've been to in a while and I fly 1000+ hrs. A year. Stop here for good gas prices and good Texas hospitality.

We sometimes like to stop here on the way west from Dallas or the way home to stretch our legs and get a soda. The vending machine inside sells ice-cold sodas for 50 cents! The main reason we stop here is because the machine sells Dublin Dr. Pepper made with real sugar. 50 cents for a Dublin DP is an awesome deal! Thanks for the best Dr. Pepper stop in north Texas Granbury!

Sara and John are General Aviation's top ambassadors. The hospitality and quality of service and facilities are why those of us who own and fly small airplanes make Granbury a regular stop. Three courtesy cars are available and the town is filled with excellent home-owned restaurants and shops. You'll not find a better hamburger and shopping hop than Granbury. Our third trip and we can't wait for our fourth.
