The staff at this airport was very helpful and friendly. I called the day before about a rental car and Enterprise was closed, but the lady at the airport called the next morning and made arrangements for a car while I was enroute and when we arrived we were met at plane for a ride to the FBO, which was very accommodating for my 80yr old father and the car was there waiting, GREAT JOB!!

The staff and facilities at Shelbyville are as good as it gets in my book. The place is modern and well kept. The prop had barely stopped turning and they were there to fuel us up. As I taxied out Darryl noticed my spinner wobbling and called me on Unicom. The staff helped us arrange for repairs and a rental car as we continued on and left the airplane at the shop. You can't get more conscientious than these folks are. Thanks Darryl, you probably saved us a lot of money and trouble!

Shelbyville Aviation Does Not Take AVCard. Shelbyville Airport VASI system is sometimes turned off during daylight and Pilot Controlled Lighting is disabled.
