Was on my way to KMYR from KSSI 2nd day of a 3-day ferry from Boca Raton FL to NYC. Was vectored due to WX and traffic near Charleston SC. This cut into my fuel reserves. Fog was due to roll in anytime in next 2 hours and getting dark. I was averaging 70 knts in a 1967 Bell 47 and couldn't afford any more vectors or delays... Called Seven Rivers on Unicom and asked if they were comfortable with Myself hotfueling as I wanted more fuel reserve but didn't want to shut down etc... Because of the possibility of the wx going down. They accommodated me. I got 15 gals in record time with myself pumping the running copter as I have done for years in the AG business. The gentleman told me to leave without paying. " I KNOW YOU ARE IN A HURRY... JUST GIVE US A CALL WITH A CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU CAN!" Southern Hospitality at the best! I called after getting to hotel and couldn't thank them enough! Great facilities. Great airport and fantastic people! Stop in to see for yourself

I always park my aircraft in Georgetown whenever I'm in South Carolina. Seven Rivers and Georgetown Airport are always friendly and helpful. They provide excellent service and are always willing to assist. I have also worked with Jim Taylor the Airport manager who has helped me numerous times. If you ever travel North or South along the coast I would highly suggest stopping at Georgetown Airport/Seven Rivers FBO. You will not be disappointed

These guys are great. I fly in a few times a year. Customer service is excellent! Friendly and courteous, they do not disappoint. Terminal is clean and contemporary. Fuel prices are fair. Good folks, and we'll be back!
