The service at Seven Rivers is excellent. With temps near 100, William was immediately out with the golf cart. He unloaded us, tied us down, helped with the cover, and then drove us and all our baggage to the terminal. William even moved our rental car up to the front door and got the air conditioner going for us. He had cold drinks for us and water for the dog.

These guys are great. Stopped in to return some young kids from Victory Junction on an Angel Flight. Received a $1.00/gallon discount...What a great place and very generous. Got fuel, FS, for $4.65/gallon. Can't beat that. Thanks for supporting these youngsters’ guys!!!

This a terrific little airport with a nearly new FBO - very convenient - nice personnel - helpful with luggage - offers free snacks and drinks - computer access and lounge. We stopped on March 22nd for an overnight with friends in our Bonanza N85WM - Very accomodating - will definetly return again.

Diverted to GGE enroute to Sun 'n Fun due to weather. Line service promptly met us at the plane and helped tie down. Minutes later we were in the late model crew car with directions to several great restaurants. Returned to the well appointed pilot lounge and planned the next leg of our trip. Will definitely visit again.

Stopped at GGE on Aug 3, 2010 for fuel enroute south. Could not continue due to weather. Had to spend the night. Airport staff was very helpful with info re hotels and local transport. They moved my plane to a secure tie-down. The pilot lounge was comfortable, well stocked with snacks, and had computer, printer, TV, and a stock of recent aviation and non-aviation magazines. No fees were mentioned, 100LL was priced competitively, and the facility was new and runways, markings, etc were excellent. And I should mention I was flying a C150G and was treated like a real pilot. Overall excellent FBO and airport.

Like the guy below said, they now have a ramp fee. I was on a sight seeing flight and stopped for my passengers to use the bathroom. $10 for a Cherokee for 10 minutes. Not that it is that much but come on. If you are going to pay $10 might as well go to MYR and walk over to Market Common and hang out for a while. Or go to CRE and still pay nothing.

In the 30yrs my family has been flying our plane to Pawley's Island, SC, Georgetown County airport has decidedly become our favorite airport! For a while we were flying into MYR, but GGE way out-shines MYR. Who wants to deal with all the hassle at MYR when GGE has their BRAND NEW TERMINAL, friendly FBO, great facilities, and a nice 6000ft runway. Stop at GGE next time you are in the area.

Flew in to refuel and stretch on our VA-FL-VA trip. Very nice FBO--even dog friendly with water/food bowls and treats--which scored points with both my lab and me. Helpful, responsive and professional staff.

Landed there on 10/4/09 in my Beech F33A N85WM - Very friendly staff and terrific new terminal & new longer runway - now 5000' - paid $4.86/gallon for 100LL - used their computer for weather, etc.

The new terminal is complete, and it's VERY nice (as is the transient ramp, the landscaping, the parking lot, and the whole operation). Fuel price is $4.34, but every 10 gallons purchases waives one night of $10 tie-down fee (for piston single) so the net price is reasonable if you stay for a few days. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. My only complaint came when I was ready to leave & I was asked to pay a $10/day "ramp fee" (on top of the $10/night tie-down fee) that I had not been told about when I called before my arrival. When I complained, the incredibly helpful gentleman waived the "ramp fee." Did I mention how friendly and helpful the staff is? Ask about fees before you arrive so you know what to expect, but visit Seven Rivers. These guys rock.
