On an early Saturday afternoon, we were met by John who parked us, helped us with the self-service fuel (no trucks for 100LL) and the pre-arranged rental car. They have a modern facility and very reasonable fuel prices. This is a great alternative to downtown. If we're in the neighborhood, we'll definitely stop here again!

Flew in to pick up a plane. Service was outstanding and the few prices were very reasonable. We were able to use the courtesy car to take one of our passengers to Kansas City International Airport.

You can't find friendlier, more helpful people. Fuel prices were great. Courtesy car. Steered us to Wabash BBQ, which was so good, we ate full meals and ordered even more to take home. Struggled to stay awake for the flight home!!

All reviews below are quite accurate. FBO also has excellent courtesy car arrangements. I have been there twice in last two months and they were very accommodating on the use of the car. Great fuel prices and easy to get to. Runway and ramp are in excellent condition.

Stopped for fuel Tuesday Sep 28. First time there and I was impressed. Easy in, easy out--KC approach easy to work with, and the airport is not busy. While the weather was good for our visit the airport is served with good approaches to both 18 and 36 so this would be a preferred stop for me in any weather. Attractive, nearly new facility was clean, and the line service was friendly and had us serviced and ready to go in no time.

Great service! I parked there four nights while staying in the area and they took great care of me. The terminal is nice (good place for family to hang out while I was giving rides) and they put my plane in a hangar to protect it from weather without me even having to ask. Top-notch. Special shout-out to John, the weekend staffer. He was great!

I haven't been here since last year. We made another stop going cross-continent. Excellent service, price and facilities. Can't see any reason not to stop here. I notice there are special prices for local hotels as well so you can make it an overnight stop as well.

This is a great stop...but there's no food (not even vending) on the field. I was also told that for avgas, the only way to get it is from the self-serve...but the price sure is right! Easy in and out...nice runway, apron. They lent me their "courtesy van" for a trip to Wabash for BBQ...nice folks here! Response from Colin McKee, Airport Director, Midwest National Air Center
Mr. Elias, I'm glad you had a positive experience while visiting our airport. However, I would like to take this opportunity to clear up what looks like a little bit of miscommunication. It is true that we do not have a restaurant on our field. However, we do have two vending machines and free coffee available in our terminal 24/7. Also, we do not have a 100LL truck, but we do provide pump-service with our Lektro aircraft tugs. Hope to see you soon!

Thank you for the nice comments Mr. Zodin! Also, I am pleased to write that we will be installing an AWOS at our airport in the very near future. All we need is for the FAA to determine which site to locate the equipment. Smooth landings!

We stopped here on this past Monday on the way from Wichita. The FBO is absolutely beautiful and clean. John treated us so well. We were given access to a crew car for the night and directed to some of THE BEST BBQ we have ever had - Wabash in Excelsior Springs. If you are looking for a great experience, this is the place to stop.

Stopped in here on a Saturday for an Angel Flight connection, and could not have asked for a better facility or service. They have everything a pilot could want, including a crew car and directions to great KC BBQ! I hit the self-serve fuel for a great price before heading home.

Spent Memorial Day weekend with Midwest National, a great stop. John fueled the self-serve for us, and tucked the plane gently into the hangar with some weather on the horizon. Friendly service, nice, new, clean facility, looking forward to coming back!

Stopped for fuel on the way from California to Baltimore. Nice clean facility and service is impeccable - we were in and out in short order with the best fuel price in the country. No courtesy car (one was out and one in the shop), so we couldn't get into town for food, but we knew that was the case from calling the day before, so we were prepared. Absolutely impeccable service!
