Flew in Thursday evening at 9:30. Promptly met by lineman who helped unload our luggage. Nice experience! Friendly people inside. The FBO is a trailer, but sufficed for our needs.

Flew in to Atlantic Aviation FBO for a two night stay from 11-10-09 to 11-13-09. Lineman Scotty was very helpful. When I suggested their tow bar might not fit my STC'ed wheel pant on my PA-28, he pre-fit their tow bar and sure enough it did not. He got a hand bar and moved the plane. Everyone in the FBO was very friendly and helpful. Great experience, will come back.

1st class service. Line personel meet us at the plane with rental car. They had the plane tied down and fueled before I could get our luggage unloaded. Offered to help cover the plane when I was ready. Fuel price showed on AirNav was a little higher than surrounding airports but I will pay a little more for the great service they provide. Plus was offered a little discount when paying for the fuel, that was not expected. Will stop here again on future flights.

First class service with our rent car waiting and lots of help with securing the plane (Mooney Ovation). Baggage handling was a welcome plus! There was some indication (elsewhere online) that the area was still suffering the effects of Katrina and we wanted to spend an afternoon here prior to pushing east. I'd say that 95% of the teardown & cleanup is done. The beaches are mostly restored although there is some work ongoing (I think they're pumping sand up from the gulf). The biggest result of the hurricane is almost invisible: most of the antebellum homes along the beach are now gone. In their place are for sale signs. Interestingly, a lot of the old live oaks survived. Development along the beach all the way to Biloxi is pretty sparse. The development north of the beach (toward and along I10) is impressive and the casinos appear to be at full strength (even those along I110). Beau Rivage is very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to stop again.

Arrived in a Piper 6x on Sep 3rd for a weekend visit. Everything was handled promptly and professionally. I purchased fuel and was still charged $10/night parking fees. I'm not complaining. You should see the hurricane damage that still exists. Good folks, friendly people.

Good service on 8/18/09, nice courtesy car. Fuel quite pricy, as reflected here on AirNav. Not a lot of good eating establishments close by. Followed directions given by the counter folks and did not find a lot of options, but looking on a map, probably should have headed toward I-10 vs. south as they directed. Computer was present but not avail and I really would have liked to use it as the whole are was covered with convective sigmets.

Diverted to GPT on 08/05/2009 on our way from KUTS to KMLB due to severe weather over the southern states. Atlantic Aviation was very helpful and provides an extremely new and clean courtesy car. There are weather computers available and fresh cookies and southern sweet tea. We had a good time there during our 10 (!) hour stop. One great thing though would be if the newer weather computer god Adobe Reader installed so one can print out flight plans! Excellent experience! N17386.
