We had very good experiences on July 29 and August 1 at Greenwood County airport. Stopped for fuel. Reasonable prices and nice facility. Also, we used the courtesy car to go into town for lunch. Could not have asked for better service.

Great fuel stop. Staff was friendly and got me fueled quickly. FBO building was clean and welcoming. Recommended.

Flew in about 3pm to wait out the weather headed toward me, which I could neither penetrate nor go over or around. It was a Sunday, the airport closed at 5 pm, and by then it appeared the weather would not change overnight. Don, the gentleman on duty helped me find a hangar for my plane in case of hail, loaded up my gear and drove me to a close motel where I obtained a room for the night. Great help all the way around, above and beyond what I would normally have expected. Thanks guys.

10 out of 10, what else could I say. A most fuel stop or just a weekend flight to hangout.

Had to meet some folks for a dinner meeting downtown Greenwood and used KGRD for the closest airport. Called Rick (manager) ahead of time and he assisted me from start to finish like I was the governor of SC. From use of the courtesy car, to accurate directions to my meeting, to quick and priced right fueling and just general GA conversation I found Rick and KGRD to be a perfect spot for GA traffic. The FBO is clean, well furnished and nicely equipped. The 5000'+ RWY and ramp are in great condition as well. I'll be back soon and have a 5 star review for this fine facility.
