Flew in yesterday. The field was "hopping" there must have been at least a dozen transient aircraft. Ate a HMB Brewing, their special was salmon fish and chips which was delicious. To save oneself a bit of a walk, park at the far south end of the field. If the tie downs are full and it’s not too windy, just park on the grass.

Enjoyed the Half Moon Bay Brewing Co afternoon of 03 Sep 2007 with my wife and her mother after a nice fly in from the east. One of the best Cobb salads I have had, and my dates enjoyed their lunches too (the sole, and the albacore tuna melt.) Our waitress was extraordinarily friendly, frank, and helpful. Will definitely get a repeat visit, perhaps next time on the patio. Best access to this and the other fine restaurants at the marina is to tie down at the extreme south end of the airport, beyond the more obvious central tie downs across from the Three Zero Cafe, which should be skipped.

Great food, walking distance (tie down on the south east side of the field), but service can be spotty when they're busy. Outdoors dining, nice view of the boat harbor. Good choice for the $100 hamburger fly-in.
