These folks rock, seriously. They treat everyone as if they have a Pilatus and Citation in the fleet. I'm based at HDC and all my maint is done there, on a trip my starter went out, and on a Sunday evening Steve went out of his way to attempt to find one he could fly over to me. The training is excellent at their flight school and the service and maintenance top notch.

By far the best flight school in the country. We are lucky to have Sharon, Steven and their CFI's here in Hammond, LA.

Needed to borrow a complex for the commercial checkride, so went to check out FBK's 172RG...Superb aircraft, and even better was the excellent & professional instruction by Sharon which was more than a mere check-out but helped me prep for the checkride as well. She went out of her way to assist with scheduling, and while the whole experience was brief I could tell that there is undoubtedly good opportunity for quality instructing here. Thanks a bunch Sharon!

Stopped at FBK for fuel and a couple of charts. The office is a bit disorganized, but they had what I needed and good price on SS fuel. I'd stop again.

I've been a student pilot with FBK since March 09 and should be complete by end of September 09. Sharon, Steve and their crew have that perfect mix of being laid back and approachable at the same time being very professional. They take pride in their FBO, instruction, each other and their students, no matter if they're a first time student like me or someone going after their instrument, taildragger, aerobatic or twin rating. Top notch.
