  We spent 5 days in DC. FBO was friendly and competent. Uber into DC and Lyft back. Worked great! $50 to $60 each way. There is a rail station close by but its schedule did not fit ours.

  Well run FBO. Joe was a great help prior to arrival. The service was fantastic and everyone extremely friendly! Brought our rental car out to us without asking. Even helped us unload. Highly recommend.

  On 9/24/16, a friend and I flew my Cherokee 6 (N9695C) into Manassas for a day trip in the Washington area. My friend rented a compact car from Hertz through Dulles Aviation. We returned the car the same day in excellent condition with a full tank of gas. Later, my friend ended up with a bill for > $1, 000 dollars for the rental. Apparently, Dulles Aviation screwed up the paper work with Hertz resulting in many days worth of rental rather than one day. My friend has spend the week with many phone calls trying to straighten out the problem. It is unclear at this time if he'll get his money back. Because of my experience, I recommend considering the alternative FBO on the field or another airport in the region. A hefty landing fee would be a better deal over the one we received.

Mr. Bowen, I apologize for the rental car billing issue you had on Saturday 9/24/16, here at Dulles Aviation. We do make arrangements with AVIS, HERTZ and Enterprise rental car's, for our customers and make sure the cars are logged in and out of our location, so the rental companies can provide an accurate bill. Our information was correct, unfortunately, it was not billed correctly. I contacted the local Hertz office when I saw this post. The bill was not accessible to the local office and I had to track down the Hertz Area Manager, to notify him of the problem. He came by our office, we explained the situation and showed him our records and your AirNav post. He said, "He has spoken with you and apologized for the grievous mistake made by their employees at Manassas, and that they will be voiding out the rental in its entirety." Please let us know if you need any additional information.

  Always great service. Crystal and Sabrina always go above and beyond to assist me when flying into KHEF for business. Arranging rentals, Hotel rooms for those unplanned overnight stays, etc. Can't say enough. And of course all aircraft management is top notch.

  Flew into Manassas to use "wash rack" advertised on the website. Consisted of a garden hose and provided brushes/buckets at a spot in front of the hangar... No oil/water separator system like I've seen elsewhere. Also, the advertised price of $15 was not honored, charged me $20. Clerk said they've been "updating the website for years". It's really not difficult to update a website, and these days it should be routine for any business. Still the staff seemed helpful and friendly, so I gave it an "average" overall.

  Great FBO. Everyone was helpful and friendly which made my arrival a breeze. Plane was expertly tied down, fueled & ready when I returned 2 days later. Coffee, crew car & restaurants just a mile up the road. Will definitely use Dulles Aviation next time I come to Manassas.

  I had 8 hours at this FBO, starting at 1630 on Monday, March 21. This is one of the friendliest and most helpful FBO's I have ever been to. Sabrina gave me lots of info on my initial call regarding ground transportation and times to DC She made a hotel reservation for me. Plans were changed, the original 2-day trip became a one-day trip with a wee hours departure. After I checked in with the desk, I was in the plane and got a phone call from Wanda. She wanted to make sure that I had cancelled my hotel reservation. Great service. Line guys Will and Brian were very helpful and good company after regular closing hours.

  I completed my trip. Great way to DC. Sabrina was excellent and the line guys excellent. (Waited for me just as they were closing) Remember Use HERTZ or AVIS!

  I made advance arrangements with Dulles Avn. The responses were rapid and exchanges very pleasant. On arrival, the car waiting and lineman guided me in and greeted me planeside. My post flight revealed an engine issue. Isn't it always scary when something happens away from your home A&P? I filled out a trouble ticket and left the airplane in their care. Mr. Richard Pittman (A&P) at DA rapidly identified the problem, clearly communicated the necessary repairs, and provided an accurate quote. I could not be happier with the service from the entire DA team. Many thanks to Richard, Joe, and everyone for taking care of my airplane and giving me peace of mind. I will be back.
