I have used Volo twice, and won't go anywhere else in DC area. Great service. Mgr. Mike diagnosed an engine problem at N/C and called around to set me up with a mechanic that could help me quickly. All FBO's should be run like Volo.

I have flown into HEF a couple times per month over the last 9 months and every visit to Volo Aviation has been exceptional. The folks there have always greeted me and always make us feel welcome. They have great people, a great facility, and are very customer service oriented. (Great free gourmet coffee too!)

First class service, by Curtis and everybody there. Parked our Archer on the ramp in front, and by the time the prop had stopped and mags were off, there was a carpet at the step and a rental car by the baggage door. Could not have been better service if I pulled up in a Citation X.

Flew in for a convention Feb 2nd through 4th. Couldn't have been more impressed with our service. Fuel, TKS, and a warm hangar. On our departure we had a little trouble getting started. Before we even finished discussing our battery situation>.... A very attentive lineman was standing by our wing ready to supply ground power. We literally did not even have to unbuckle our seatbelts. Very sorry for not knowing his name, but his service has made life long customers out of us. Please see that he is praised for his exemplary service. He even refused a tip! He must get a lot of them. On January 21, I returned passengers in my limo for a King Air. After I left, noticed I lost my gold bracelet, a 40 years old gift from my late mother when I became an airline pilot. Yesterday, on the way back from RIC decided to stop at Volo, hopelessly asked CSR Mike Beckett. Seconds later he handed me a white envelope: “FOUND BY KENNY ON THE RAMP on 01/22/2009". I thanked Mike and left. When I sat in my car, enjoyed shedding some tears of joy again, after 40 years. We should all be proud of heroes like Kenny.

Great people and service as Helo guys we are not use to great service because of the small amount of fuel we purchase. Not true at Volo Aviation. Also, the Hoppy's restaurant is GREAT. They had great prices and two brothers operate it and their mother does all the cooking, boy was that great. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys home cooking when traveling.

I must have caught them on a off day!!!I flew in on the weekend of Jan 10th in my Piper Arrow to bring my daughter back to school. When I do fly into Manassas I always go to Dulles Aviation but after reading all the comments on AirNav I wanted to give Volo a try. Boy was I fooled! As I was taxiing up I could not find anyone to tell me where to park so I just found a place and parked my plane and the guy just opened the door to the FBO and looked at me and shut the door and walked back inside. Must have been too cold for him outside! After waiting 10 minutes with not getting any offer for services I just got back in my plane and went back over to Dulles. I won't be back!!

Flew in on December 30 and parked for three days. Great service. If you need limo service into Washington ask them to refer you to Butch Jones at Ascot. In general a great experience and much easier than Dulles.

I fly into Volo on a semi-regular basis and from the first time I arrived in my little PA28-180 I was treated almost like royalty. I call before going and they have a rental car waiting for me as soon as I arrive. In fact, they drive it right up to my airplane. $10 parking is waived with a fuel purchase and Mike and Karen are always very accommodating. Fuel is reasonable for the area (although the area in general is expensive) and they honor the Air Boss discount, which is well worth it. I wish I could use Dulles, which is much closer to my destination, but the fuel, landing, ramp, and parking fees there are way too prohibitive. Volo is an ideal alternative.

Arrived Sept 4; met with promptness and a cool bottle of water after a long hot trip -- how grand! Mike then gave me full info about riding the train (VRE) to DC including transfers to Metro. All worked great, saving me the trouble and expense of renting and driving a car just to get in and out of town. He had the crew drive me to the nearby station; they met me the next day upon return. All this and airplane service of quality made my visit just plain good and easy. Thank you Volo Manassas!

We arrived 7/5/08 at 11pm local, having been diverted to HEF due to weather. Outstanding service from lineman Mike on the overnight shift. He arranged for ground transportation and hangar space to protect the a/c from an approaching storm. The next morning, Mike fueled parked my AG-5B directly outside the FBO door. A first class experience all the way. I'll be back.

Flew in on Thursday and was met by two linemen who greeted us with the red carpet treatment and bottled water. They also pulled our rental car up to the plane and helped us with our luggage. Very helpful and professional. Great service!

Restaurant just opened this week on the second floor. Open every day for lunch and dinner till 9 PM. will soon be open for breakfast at 7 AM. Great hospitality and great view of the runway for those who like to eat AND watch airplanes.

Back again after a year. NextFlight is now Volo, and still outstanding. Excellent line and counter staff. Services are great and we sampled the new restaurant on the second floor. The food was very good with a great view of the runways.

Great FBO, I was there from 28 March to the 30th.GFlew in from ISP Long Island NY. Karen was great to set things up before I got there. Mike B was great to execute them. Car was ready, waiting by the plane. When leaving lineman Mike Fr. Was very helpful, offered water or anything we could need. Great place to arrive at after dealing with the DC area aerospace. I almost forgot, I was only flying my C172.Fuel prices a lot better than NY... I will be back. Thank you Volo crew !!!!

I flew into HEF on March 21 and can't say enough about how helpful they were. I needed a car for several hours and they graciously offered me the use of the crew car. They had my Cirrus ready fueled and ready to go when I returned so that there was nothing delaying my departure. A great FBO!!

I have just returned from DC. I was caught in the recent ice storm. The only way I was able to return was due to the outstanding service by everyone a Volo. They got my airplane in a hangar, a room, a car, and even let me preflight in the hangar, then pulled me out while I was inside my aircraft getting ready to go. Thanks guys I'll be back. I flew into KHEF on the 1st of November 2007. Michael Martin, a staff lineman, greeted me. He was very professional and even offers me a slice a pizza they were enjoying for their lunch. He refueled my A/C promptly. Then, Brian Nace, another lineman, promptly repositioned my plane to a tie down spot, secured it, and even cleaned the windshield! Great service, period!!

I will echo the comments made by others. I was greeted in my Cardinal RG with a cold bottle of water. Line service was very prompt and diligent. Facilities are nice, people are friendly and helpful, and fuel price is very good. I will definitely go back if I need to return to the area.

I agree the service is prompt and friendly but I had a mixed experience. Arrived on a Sunday for fuel. Lineman only topped off main tanks so there was some delay getting the fuel truck. Back in the plane to continue but had broken starter. I know it was Sunday but nobody seemed to know what maintenance they provided. Suggested I contact Dulles since they probably do not do piston maintenance. They did get hotel reservations for overnight. I called in the next morning and was informed they infact do not do piston maintenance but was refered to a maintenance shop on the field. They were helpful towing the plane back and forth to other maintenance shop.

Fantastic FBO. Top-notch service even for single engine customers. The new location is very nice. When you are met on the ramp with cold bottled water for each person and your rental car is running and cooled, it's easy to like Nextflight.

8 19 07 Came to Manassas airport at noon they had crew car on the ramp and loaded our luggage. We could not have had better treatment the best yet.

OH MY GOD!! WOW! AMAZING! AWESOME!! My single engine piper was treated like a G-5 with all the options! Everyone in the entire building – in the entire staff, was phenomenal! This was the best FBO experience of my entire life!

Nice FBO. Arrived at 12:30 am by Grumman Cheetah to a friendly greeting and coffee. They parked and tied down the plane for me. When I returned three days later it was topped off as requested. The staff was very friendly. My kids enjoyed the fresh popcorn and clean restrooms. Two big screen TVs to choose from and a nice flight planning room. It is a good place to stop.

Arrived 9am to find lineman waiting. Superior service and friendly staff. Facilities are top notch. I would recommend to all. Upon leaving around 10pm, our Columbia was promptly pulled right up front for convenience and to minimize getting wet in the rain.

OUTSTANDING FBO. Flew into Manassas for a trip to DC and was met with smiles and superior service by the entire NextFlight staff. Went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. No tie down fees with gas--they even pulled my tiny Diamond Katana into the hangar to preheat before leaving town. Corporate Jet treatment in a 2-seater 24-gallon tank Katana...That's service. Will definitely return again!

This was a great experience, the facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. We were treated like we arrived in a business jet. I'd recommend this FBO to any light aircraft owner.

WOW! I chose this FBO based on other pilot comments on AirNav.Com. The D.C. Area is complex. There are several pages of notams. IFR will ensure compliance. Land at this field and use NextFlight. We arrived about 10 P.M. just before Thanksgiving, 2006. Our car was ready and brought out to the plane. They even had the car interior warmed! They unloaded our luggage, made sure we had lots of water, popcorn, and maps. Prices were reasonable. Low tie down fees. These folks are great. Paid a lot of attention to our young kids, also. These are Teddy Bear people.
