Very nice people. They helped me get a taxi to the hotel, and were generally very welcoming.

Stopped in HOT for the night to wait for a cold front to move further south. Line and office folks were helpful, steering us to the Austin hotel in town with a shuttle from the airport and a pilot discount. Hot Springs itself is somewhat "faded" from what was clearly once a booming downtown. Pretty dead on a Sunday night. Nice folks though. I noticed that they charged a tie down fee despite my buying fuel.

Very helpful staff on the ramp and in the office. Airplane fueled and ready to go less than five minutes after arrival. Plenty of fast food within a mile or two of the airport, and a clean courtesy car to get there. Retired Embraer Brasilias parked on the ramp, beautiful scenery, and a helpful FBO. Definitely worth the stop.

Nice airport, nice people but will not update their fuel price. Maybe because it is $4.83 for 100LL. Everywhere else is in the $3.00 plus category except maybe Little Rock.

Nicest Courtesy Car I've ever had at a small airport FBO. No Kidding! The windows worked, the A/C worked, and you felt you were driving a real car, not a death trap. I bought only 16 gallons for the RV-4, but the courtesy car was offered with no hesitation. Pretty airport to fly into.

Hot Springs is a great town to visit. There is a lot to do and enjoy. The FBO was helpful to set up a $60 rate at the Austin Hotel downtown. The fuel prices at HOT are a bit high, but not more than I expected at a destination airport.

To be sure George has been here for a very long time. His knowledge of the area is an encyclopedia volume. As for a crew car, first come fist serve but they don't have a barn full of cars. What FBO does? Only a couple so be it...They are clean and in great shape. Fuel is reasonable, for these days, and everyone there has a great attitude and working relationship. Stop here and don't let the grouches stop you. Good folks.

There this past weekend, pretty busy because of horse races. Bought fuel because lineman told us crew car was available. Went into FBO and NO crew car available. At that point we were ready to leave, but had to wait 10 minutes to get rung up for fuel purchase. Paid for fuel and had to squeeze between hangar and fuel truck to taxi, because ramp was congested. Nice facility, but don't count on crew car or a quick turn.

Had to divert to KHOT after an electrical problem en route to Memphis. Greeted on the ramp and chocked off. They were a bit slow with helping to getting a repair. The first company offered was slow to respond and didn't do GA work. After much waiting the second company (Airborne Services) had the parts in stock and were eager to help. The manager at Airborne said the airport GM must have a thing for them as they are always last to be called. Crew car was offered without problem. General airport services were good with a small town charm.

These guys were prompt and treated my 172 like it was a G5... I hate that cliché but I also can't say enough about this airport. Nice FBO as well.

Folks at HOT were very helpful. Thanks to Jim, local A&P mechanic, for taking a look at our fuel leak at no charge. Nice facility.

Fuel is expensive but the service is good. They charge a tie down fee regardless of fuel purchase or not, but they discount the normal $5/night to $3/nite w/fuel purchase.

I can't say enough good about the Hot Springs airport! I flew in on a Wednesday enoute to Dallas from the East Coast. I had called them from my previous fueling stop, telling them I would like to stay in Hot Springs overnight, and to check to see if they had any transient hangar space. They just asked for my N number and said to give them a call when in radio range. I did so, and upon landing they had me fueled, and hangared in no time flat. They also had a hotel reservation and the shuttle already enroute. The next morning, my plane was ready to go as I got there. My return through there was equally a good experience. Fuel costs were higher than other places, but the hospitality and service made it worthy. I can't think of a better place to visit with guests--shows them what good general aviation service is all about!!!

My wife and I flew up to HOT from Dallas for the weekend. We had a great time in Hot Springs and found the people at the FBO to be very courteous and helpful. FBO facilities include a briefing area, a pilot lounge, and a shower. Rental cars are available from Hertz and Enterprise and the FBO has two courtesy cars (two hour time limit).
