While learning to fly was always a goal, the rigors of business and raising a family kept it just that-a goal and not a reality. When the time came where actually pursuing a private pilot certificate seemed right, it was as they say "late in the game. Age provides perspective, and as such, I viewed the entire process as a no nonsense business. The flight training I received at Panorama was exceptional. If one is considering flying as a hobby or a profession, the goal should be to receive the best training possible and not just a "rubber stamp". The group at Panorama will get you there from the ground up. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend them.

When I set out to choose a flight school in the New York City area, I compiled a spreadsheet of Q&A, information and figures about 8 schools in the region based on 30-45 minute conversations with personnel at each school. I chose Panorama for private pilot training for its proximity to the city, location on a great airport, high-quality aircraft fleet, competitive prices, good customer service (especially school director Chris Graessle and the ladies at the flight school desk) and the availability of an instructor whose interests and style were compatible with mine. I passed my PPL check ride in early September and remain happy with my choice of flight school. My only complaint is that the instructional/preflight briefing facilities and resources (e.G. Tables, chairs, computers, chalkboard) are somewhat disorganized and run down. It would be nice if this could be improved, but overall the school does a great job, and I expect to continue at Panorama for an instrument rating.

There's simply no better place to learn to fly. I started training with Steve Colaco at PFS in 2009 and have since received my private pilot certificate (mid-2010) and instrument rating (Jan 2011). Steve and the rest of the crew are fantastic. They ensured that I had what I needed to pass my checkrides on the first attempt. The rental fleet is primarily equipped with the G1000 and is flawlessly maintained. I can't wait to build up the hours in order to go for my commercial certificate with Panorama. Keep up the good work!

Just got my PPL at Panorama, I highly recommend the school. The instructors are excellent and the fleet is modern and well maintained. They really care about their students and make sure they are paired with the right instructor. Their online scheduler is also a huge plus. Five stars.

Panorama Flight School has great customer service and accommodated me on many occasions. I had an awesome time learning to fly here and met other flight students and pilots in their classes and seminars. As a renter, I appreciate the high turnover of their aircraft so the latest technology is always available to us.

I began my private pilot training last August at Panorama. I have been impressed from the Discovery flight on. The instructors are competent; the planes are new and impeccably maintained. The facility is top notch. I have been so impressed that I have ordered a Cessna 162 as a leaseback aircraft for the flight school.

My relationship with PFS began last summer when before I moved to the New York Metro area I completed VFR and IFR rental checkout flights to rent their aircraft. The professionalism of their instructing and support staff is top notch and coupled with the online scheduling program make renting with PFS easy. Their new and reliable fleet is fun to fly and I look forward to many more flights with PFS so long as I reside in the NY Metro area.

I have been using Panorama for renting aircraft for over two years now. The aircraft are always clean and in great condition. Besides having the best fleet on the airport, everyone from management down to the line personnel, are always friendly and willing to help.

For my summer college course, I needed to find a place to rent a plane from. After trying other FBOs, none compared to the professionalism and personal attention that I received from the employees of Panorama. In particular, Chris Graessle, the Director of Flight Training, as well as the front desk staff were welcoming and extremely accommodating. In addition Drew Wischer, my instructor (and a fellow Purdue Boilermaker), helped me quickly adjust to flying in New York airspace. I look forward to going back to Panorama next summer. I have been trained at Panorama Flight Service for my private and more recently, for my instrument rating. I had a previous pilot life 30 years ago in Belgium, where I was one of the first Cessna Pilot Center graduates in '79 and found Panorama Flight Service Flight Training Academy a highly qualified school to regain my private license. There is nothing better than a reliable FBO with top of the line equipment. The G1000 equipped Cessna’s combined with the professionalism of the instructors makes Panorama Flight Service Flight Training Academy the most value for the investment. Glass panels are a revolution in GA and Panorama Flight Service Flight Training Academy has understood this by moving towards integrated instruction on this increasingly complex but safer situational awareness tool.

Without hesitation, Great FBO! I've been in customer service for 30 years and have never seen anything like the top-down, bottom-up completely professional but personable service like what exists at Panorama. It is as though their motto is "Go the extra nautical mile"! As a flight academy student I'm convinced I couldn't be in better hands. The training is professional, pedagogically sound with highly trained patient instructors willing to tailor syllabi and schedules to meet any learning style. And enough can't be said about learning to fly in Bravo airspace with Panorama's well maintained slick fleet of Garmin 1000 equipped aircraft.

Great group of people at Panorama Flight Service. Highly qualified CFI's who really go out of their way to make sure you are happy. It may mean answering questions after business hours or helping you juggle your flying schedule...they are always there to help. The office staff and line crew are also very dedicated and professional. I have been to several flight schools throughout the country...none have matched the fleet of aircraft Panorama has to offer. Keep up the good work!!!!
