Was down to KHQU flying my boss in a Cessna 421 Golden Eagle from Michigan this past Thanksgiving. Spirit was an absolute gem to us, and the attendant was a great guy who was really willing to help. Personally, I'd never got to play with an RCO before, and couldn't get the touch. The Spirit attendant dialed the RCO for me on the taxi and got me patched though to Agusta APP without any problems. Nice self-serve fuel facility too, very new. Hopefully returning to HQU for another Miami trip at the end of December. Can't wait to see you again, Spirit..

Stopped through on my way to FL. Lavish facilities, friendly and helpful staff easy self-serve fuel (cheap, too)! They had the courtesy car waiting for me when I landed. I was so impressed; I stopped back through on my return trip. Highly recommended.

Wonderful service all around. We went to KHQU during the Masters event. Although the event drew nearly 40 jets to this little FBO's ramp the employees treated everyone with quick delightful service comparable to much larger airport FBO. Thanks again to Spirit!!

We landed late in evening on Friday Oct 6th and not a sole around. However, I knew that prior to landing as I had called earlier in the morning. Fuel was as advertised and the pumps are easy to find. The airport itself looks clean and the terminal building looks to be real nice inside. My only two complaints are I wish they had some type of after hours bathroom, and an after hours telephone. There was a pay-phone booth but the telephone was gone. Overall not a bad place and I will be back again.

Clearly the best choice if your going to the Masters or Augusta National. These folks are friendly and provide a nice facility for creature comfort. Price and services provided are a great value.

Spirit Aviation at the Thomson-McDuffie Airport is a first class FBO with the friendliest and most helpful staff. They have a brand new facility that makes the visit a wonderful experience. Close to Augusta but away from the heavy traffic of the Augusta area, it is my favorite airport to visit.
