I recently stopped at Jet Center on a return leg from Belize in an MU-2. Missy was incredible. She personally arranged for customs to meet my aircraft. The linemen were extremely professional too. If you're in the neighborhood, stop here, there prices are some of the best in Louisiana

FAST, FRIENDLY, CLEAN, OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE. If you get the chance, you need to stop in at Houma Jet Center. We had the pleasure of working with their staff on an aerial surveying job where we were based with them for nearly a month. Their staff was not only professional, they were also friendly and a pleasure to work with. Their facility is one of the cleanest and comfortable I've visited. Free drinks, cookies, chips, and an occasional lunch are some of the little things they know pilots appreciate. Houma Jet Center is a great FBO. They offer some of the friendliest service of any FBO. The fuel price was way below the normal prices on jet fuel that I have seen recently. The staff goes out of there way to ensure that your needs are taken care of. The company is also now planning the building of a new 8,000 sq. Ft. Complex.

Houma Jet Center hosted our Southwest Bonanza Society fly in to Houma/New Orleans. I do not think I've ever been to a finer facility! As we taxied in, Melvin and Jacob met us to help unload, check our fuel requirements and to let us know there were hot and cold drinks available inside and also let us know there was a crew car available if needed. Once inside the FBO we were met by Missy who helped us with last minute lodging and got us a great deal on a rental car. She had a never ending supply of hot cookies, popcorn, fresh fruit and other snacks. The lounge was very comfortable with leather furniture and 2 big screen TV’s. Make no mistake about it; this is a first class FBO! Thank you Missy, Jacob and Melvin.

I had the fortunate experience to visit Houma Jet Center due to poor weather at KNEW. What a great stop, nice facilities, prompt service, good fuel prices and Melissa and staff took care of us like they were the owners! We intend to drive to New Orleans in the future and use KHUM and the Houma Jet Center on a regular basis.

I flew my Citation into Houma while on business in New Orleans because of the huge difference in fuel prices. The difference more than made up for the hour drive. An added bonus was the outstanding courtesy afforded to me by Melvin Hite, Line Service Supervisor. By the time I left, I felt I had made a new friend. Great service; easy in and out, low fuel prices make Houma Jet Center hard to beat.

When I found out that Missy and Melvin had moved from another FBO we decided that we should move also for our occasional visits to Houma. We weren't disappointed. They brought their cheerful, courteous attitudes with them. I asked Melvin if there was a way to get a portable oxygen bottle serviced. He said no problem and it was ready in the morning. I found out he had personally driven across the field that evening to have it filled. These folks are the best.

Had a great experience while flying through Houma on our way to Gulf Shores, AL. The friendly lineman met us and chocked the plane, inquired about the services we needed, and then took our fuel order. The temporary (albeit very nice) FBO facility was clean and offered my wife and 18 month old son a place to have a quick lunch before checking the weather and getting on our way. We were offered snacks, cookies, and beverages, all free of charge. This is a first class operation. The new FBO building and hangar and in the works. Thanks Houma Jet Center!

Our organization specializes in International Air Ambulance. This was my first trip to Houma, and let me say, I wish all of our stops were this enjoyable. All of the facility was at your disposal and you could tell that customer service was number one. Jacob there at Houma Jet Center provided us with top notch, friendly service. The facility was very comfortable, and I was even more impressed when I was told it was temporary with a more substantial jet center to follow. The flight crew and medical crew are thankful for the generous munchies and cold drinks provided that kept us going through the night.

Melvin and Missy greeted me last week while stopping in Houma for business. I ended up staying for 4 hours due to weather. I left the plane overnight and came back in the AM and was helped by Jordan. They loaned me their nice courtesy car, twice. The FBO is plush and comfortable, the folks are extremely friendly, the fuel prices are the cheapest around, great snacks, and they have 3 big widescreen TV's. Thanks for your hospitality! I'll be back, for sure.

Houma Jet Center is by far and away the friendliest FBO that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They are outgoing, helpful, and go so far out of their way to help you they almost make you feel like family. It is so nice to see someone run a business where not only do they provide their product (Jet A) a reasonable price but they let you know that they are happy to have you there. Super clean and comfortable facility and a must stop anytime your even close to the area. Where else will you find an FBO where they not only remember your name but the fueler gives you a firm handshake when you get off the airplane and again before you leave.

We made two planned fuel stops ($2.97) at Houma Jet Center in a Citation 1SP on 6/28, 29/06. We were not only given some of the best hospitality we had ever had, but the best fuel prices around. You won't go wrong stopping there. Also the tower operators were as efficient and kind as any I have seen.

If your flying takes you to KHUM, look no further than Houma Jet Center. We have parked, fueled, catered etc at each of the FBO's on many occasions. Houma Jet Center (recently opened) has blown away the competition. No disrespect to the competition, they are kind folks. Houma Jet has recognized a niche in the marketplace for newer / more modern facilities. This of course has blown away the competition! Excellent Service, quick turns; real "can do attitudes" made our multi-legged trip a breeze! On top of all that they also have the lowest fuel prices!! What else needs to be said? Sadly this is what Signature Flight Support should model themselves after! Great service, reasonable prices for jet-A ($2.95 uplifted including tax) and in the process of building nice modern facilities / hangar!! (Houma Jet currently operating out of a double-wide trailer, although surprisingly very plush & nice).... Enjoy everyone.....

We dropped in with our King Air for a short business trip in the local area; we were really surprised at how nice of facilities they have. Fuel prices are the best in the area, and there's no way you are going to find nicer people to deal with. Even if a stop here is slightly out of your way, it’s a great refueling stop, or just a nice place to come visit and stay awhile.

There are not enough words available to describe how nice of a place Houma Jet Center is. In all my flying, this has been the best stop I have ever made. I changed my flight routing on the way back just so I could stop by again and see Missy and Melvin. They were the friendliest people I have ever met. They made sure we had enough to drink, eat, and had a car available for lunch. Fuel prices are the best in the area. Their Temporary facilities are incredibly clean and nice. When my passenger told Missy about how he broke his sunglasses and wasn't looking forward to staring into the sun for the rest of the trip, she pulled a pair out of a draw and gave them to him. If you stop here, plan on some extra time so you can take the car to get some food near by.

This may be the nicest FBO I have ever experienced. Missy and Melvin could not have been more helpful with customs, fuel, lunch and general service. On top of it all, Jet A was only $2.99 (5-29-06) which was $2.25 less than New Orleans. This is a five start FBO!

On 5/12/06 I called to let them know I was going to be there at 7:00 pm lady said someone would wait for me. When I landed at 7:00 pm there was Jacob waving me toward their area. Price was second best on my 2, 600 mile round trip to Bahamas. Facility was great and Jacob was very polite and professional. Thanks.

While Atlantic/MSY is a great FBO, I balked @ 100LL price (saved about $2/g at HUM) and detoured slightly S to Houma Jet Ctr. To fuel my Bonanza before returning N to CT. Was pleasantly surprised at the facility, the great service and certainly the competitive prices. Very Hospitable. Looking forward to the new facility too - I will definitely stop by again when in S LA.

Planned fuel stop in our Meridian on our way from FL to CA. Our welcome was total red carpet treatment. Jet fuel prices were exactly as stated and wonderful care was given to the plane during fueling. Missy and Duke made us feel as if we were long lost friends! Complimentary Lunch was served (crawfish entoufe), fresh cookies were made, coffee was great and the FBO is absolutely delightful. We are planning on returning next week and will place our lunch request prior to arrival! Do not miss this FBO because it is the best we have found in over 25 years of flying.
