Good folks and great fuel prices. Robert Hiles was a very hospitable host to my passengers and me. If you're looking for a flight instructor, a sight seeing flight, or any other flying needs, look him up.

Great people here! Offered right away to put my plane in a hangar!! Called about my rental car without me asking. A++++ experience. Never going into LEX again. Fuel prices extremely reasonable.

Outstanding service and assistance by Robert Hiles CFI. A little after filling up at very good price, we were, at quitting time, confronted with a solid line of sever thunderstorms and hail bearing down on us. Robert quickly parked our plane in a hangar for safety, without charge, and took us to a motel for the night, since the taxi company wouldn't answer the phone. The next day we were picked up by the FBO, and on our way home. We will always go out of our way to fuel here at IOB, since you never what's going to happen on the ground, mechanical or otherwise. Sincerely Curt Fisher, an old but not bold pilot.

Not only a low fuel price but also unbelievable service. Allowed me to use crew car to go to golf course and keep it for that time. They take care of you. Outstanding, benchmark, excellent customer service.

Stopped for a short break and some gas on a trip between RYY and MRT. Three planes that arrived at the same time. Jordan appeared to be the only one working the line but he still greeted me planeside, asked what he could do then took care it. The FBO has a nice lounge and friendly service. Definitely a good place to stop when you're in the Lexington area.

One of my top five airports! Great approach, great runway, great FBO, 24/7 self-serve fuel. Definite night fuel stop, once you learn location of self-serve pump (tucked behind FBO). Watch for quick forming ground fog in early morning hours in autumn.

Friendly folks. Topped our 210 off and offered to hangar (at no cost) it overnight due to potential thunderstorms in the area. Thanks!

Danny and his staff at Mt. Sterling do a great job. I have been flying in for business periodically for a few years. On this trip I did not get a rental car reserved in advance for my 2-day trip. Danny took me to Enterprise but they had no vehicles available. He then took me back to the field and allowed me to use the courtesy car for both days! I wish all FBO's had that kind of attitude. The staff at Kentucky Airmotive has all been great to work with.

Stopped by in a 182 on a hot and muggy Saturday morning. Asked the line guy to top it off and he mentioned the self-serve was .25 cheaper. I had no idea, as my facility directory didn't mention the self-serve. Should've checked AirNav! Regardless, topped off at the self-serve and was given the crew car to head to town for a bite to eat. Great little place to stop for fuel and great clean/modern/air-conditioned facilities with a friendly staff.

The cool thing about small FBO's is the attentive service and hospitality. Kentucky Airmotive is VERY accommodating. Very friendly and courteous. Would recommend this FBO to anyone transiting this area. 5001' strip - long enough for most turbine equipment. Fine facility!!

We stopped overnight and arrived right at normal closing time. Not only did we get assistance with our tie down, but also we were loaned the use of the courtesy car overnight to drive back and forth to the hotel. The hotel, the Ramada, was another story. The beds had been made up with dirty sheets in not only the first room they gave us, but the second one as well. Food crumbs and stains on the sheets and pillowcases! Try another hotel here, but the FBO is first class.

Outstanding Service! We were going to arrive after hours on Saturday P.M.. We called ahead, talked to Robert Hiles. Even thou the A/P is self- service, he waited until we arrived to insure that we were taken care of. Above and beyond. Thanks Robert C421/N207SS

This is a very positive FBO, with Jordan greeting us immediately as he was leaving on a fuel run, letting us know when he would be back and what was available at the FBO in the meantime. Nicely equipped with coffee and vending machines as well as the expected computer access. Clean, easy-to-use and feminine friendly. I felt very safe and cared for. Thanks, guys! Second visit, and it won't be the last.

I have nothing but good things to say about this FBO! Stopped at KIOB while ferrying my newly purchased Archer from Houston to Delaware. Paul was very helpful and even drove over to the tiedown area with the courtesy car to pick us up. They also made reservations for us at the Fairfield Inn while we were in the air. Very nice facility and unbelievable customer support! This is what GA is all about!

Just a quick note of thanks for the way we were treated by the outstanding team at Mt. Sterling. We made a scheduled stop for fuel and weather prevented us from continuing our air travel. They arranged for my wife and me to have use of the courtesy car for lunch and when we made the decision to drive the rest of the way to my grandmother's funeral, they arranged for a rental car and took us to pick it up. Paul and Jordan were very helpful and accommodating. In more than 27 years of public service, I have not seen a better team that understands the concept of how to treat people, not just as customers, but also as guests. Mr. Dan Hill has put together a first class team. The Mt. Sterling leaders should be proud to have such great ambassadors.

Bittersweet experience. Nice FBO and good prices on self-serve. However, when I landed on a Saturday the FBO was very overwhelmed. 5 aircraft needing fuel including smoke jumpers and warbirds BUT there was only ONE person working. The receipt machine on the SS was broke and it took nearly 20 min for me to find someone. With another person on the staff this would be an exceptional airport!

This is the place to be when you need help. Everyone here did more than any ten other airports that I've ever stopped at. I had a small problem with my airplane and weather was getting bad. Dave (the manager) made sure the airplane got fixed, we had a motel for the night and a car to get around in. The maintenance guys did a great job finding the problem and fixing it. Because of weather we had to stay three days total but it was a nice stay almost like a vacation. No worries mate. Dave saw to it the we even got discounts for our motel. The FBO is small but one of the best places I've ever stoped. Each afternoon Dave cooked out burgers and hot dogs, no one went hungry at IOB. The staff at IOB makes you feel right at home. Our visit was back in May, sorry it's taking so long to get the word out on IOB. If you get the chance you should stop in and meet Dave and his great staff. This is the way GA should be everywhere.
