The service we received at Taughannock Aviation last weekend was exceptionally good. The receptionist booked a hotel room for us at a discount a day in advance of our arrival. When we landed, the hotel's shuttle bus had already arrived to meet us. We were courteously and efficiently welcomed to Ithaca and offered immediate help with our tie-down and luggage as well as complimentary coffee and bagels. Because we were buying fuel, our landing fee was waived. The friendly help given to us on the morning of our departure was equally impressive.

Flew into KITH for a college visit to Cornell University. FBO folks were friendly and helpful...10 minute drive to Cornell...beautiful area...hope to return soon.

Great staff and great service. Stopped going and coming to the US National Aerobatic Championships in my Pitts S-2A and was treated with the same level of friendliness and service as if I had stopped in a G-450. Will stop there again.

Staff very helpful and professional! Our APU on the B-727 was inop, the staff had a GPU and Stairs waiting for us upon arrival at the KITH ramp. Great Job!!!

Stopped in for a quick stop in a piston single. I like to support FBOs so I topped off. I asked to use the crew car. Guess I did not read the fine print. I was charging for a crew car $25.00. What a joke. Next time I will Uber even at an added cost. 1) Let your customers know upfront. 2) Do not tell your customer that if you were a jet we would not charge you for the car. This FBO need to be bought by someone who understands customer service.

Be careful!! These guys are charging a $165 "handling" fee for a TBM even when providing absolutely no services. I recently picked up a passenger from their ramp, was on the ramp less than 5 minutes, never even shut down the engine, and my passenger was charged nearly $200 ($165 handling, $15 security, $12 landing) before he was allowed to come to the aircraft. They will waive the fee for the TBM with 50 gals of (expensive) fuel. Stay away!

In town for my yearly visit with relatives. Once again Taughannock's service and staff shined. On arrival was greeted and parked near building, making unloading quick and easy. Got fueled and requested hangar storage as storms were expected later in week. No problem, that was handled. I called early morning on departure date and Tammy cheerfully mustered the staff and my Archer was parked in front of the FBO for easy loading. My bill was ready, we chatted with the staff, a couple of bagels and cream cheese, coffee and bottled water and we were off on our return flight. Once again the Archer was treated the same as the King Air and the G5 next on the ramp. This is a must stop if you are in the area.

I have to agree with the other comments. I have been to countless FBOs in over 20 years of flying, and there is none better than Taughannock, especially for a single engine piston pilot like me. I called Tiffany there the day before, and she lined up a rental car that was waiting for me at the FBO. Plane was marshaled on arrival. A lot of FBOs don't even send someone out to meet me in my single. I was topped off and a requested quart of oil was waiting for me when I got back for departure. Friendly people and great service every time! Thanks guys!

Flew down from Williamson-Sodus for my cross-country flight. Everyone was very kind, quick, and professional. Great FBO and airport!

Came to town again this year for visit. Once again this place was just great. I can't figure out why there havenít been any comments on AirNav since my last contribution. I have overnighted at 16 different airports this year so far and Taughannock wins hands down as best experience.
