I was flying over Amador County on my way to Columbia & happened to tune to their ASOS frequency for an altimeter setting. At the end of the broadcast, a voice came on and listed their 100LL price. It was over 70 cents per gallon cheaper than where I was going, so I pulled the power, entered the pattern and took every drop I could put on! What a lucky find! Cheapest gas in that part of the state! Whoever decided to put the gas price on the ASOS is a genius!

I flew in to JAQ on 6/26/10 to spend a weekend with my family and left on Monday 6/28/10. Dave Sheppard the airport manager accommodated me in getting out on Monday despite construction on the approach end of Rwy 1. Thanks again Dave I will be back.
