I flew my family down to Gulf Shores on a spur of the moment trip. We were given top-notch service all the way around! We had not made rental arrangements (again, spur of the moment!!) and the staff immediately gave us use of the crew car. When our day trip turned into an overnighter, my plane was well taken care of and was even turned to keep the cockpit out of the sun. All of the employees went out of their way to ensure we had a great visit. We will be returning!!!!! Thanks again!

I called in to reserve a rental car and was told the price would be 36.00 a day for a compact car but was charged 41.00. The lineman was very helpful but the lady inside was not very nice. I paid over a dollar more for fuel (compared to the FBO next door) and was still charged a tie down fee. I will know next time to go next door and any one who likes to save a buck will do the same.

2 nights stay this trip to Gulf Shores for a long relaxing weekend (early May). Jet Center waived the first night tie-down ($15/night) with fuel purchase although we don't burn alot from New Orleans, and lined up a prompt taxi...Thanks!! They're always on top of things, quick with email responses for our plans, red-carpet treatment, sporty courtesy cars, and first-class facility. See y'all again soon!

Came in late after hours for a week's stay. Ordered fuel and tie down the next day. They had the plane back up to the door the morning of our departure. Very friendly staff, good service. Definitely recommend this airport and the area.

Another couple of trips to KJKA (our favorite $100 hamburger run) in recent weeks, and wanted to pass a note of appreciation to Jet Center South for the very fast and outstanding service, as always! Keep up the GREAT work, and we'll see y'all's smiling faces again soon!!

We operate frequently in and out of Jet Center. These folks never cease to amaze me. But, our last visit topped them all. I sent a fax that we would be arriving late Saturday night and asked them if they could have our company car on the ramp for our passengers when we arrived. It had been a very long day for us hard IFR all day long. We arrived at JKA about 11PM; the car was on the ramp and ready. The FO and I decided to stay overnight, Here's the kicker..... Our boss who was just getting into the car got out and gave me a piece of paper he had in his hand. Stating something like "these folks were thinking about you guys". The "paper" was a note from Karen stating that being as though we were coming in late she thought we might need to stay over and had made a crew car available to us "just in case". Let me just say these people are amazing, wonderful, thoughtful, capable, and competent and every positive adjective I can think of. Coz Passalacqua Chief Pilot The John-Richard Companies

What can I say! I visit this area several times a month and have always been met with generous linemen. Who, by the way have given me red carpet service only once. It must be something about us helicopter pilots! After leaving the ramp I was met with smiles from several beautiful attendants who go the extra distance to make the stay enjoyable. Hats off to this group, I'll continue to visit.

What can I say that has not already been said. Jet Center hosted our SouthWest Bonanza Society fly-in this past weekend. Red Carpet service all the way. From the moment we were marshalled to the off loading area, to the red carpet and the waiting "upgraded" "New" rental car parked at the airplane to the wonderful counter staff and the beautiful lounge. Jet Center will be our FBO of choice when visiting the Gulf Shore area. (Lulu's a must do)

We landed at the Jet Center South in Gulf Shores a couple of weeks ago and I can't say enough about the service. As we taxied up we were marshaled to line parking, a red carpet was at the step before I could get the door open and our car was at the aircraft, running with the A/C on and assistance was provide by Mike Curtis, the Line Service Manager. Now that is service. This was the second time we've used Jet Center South and I highly recommend them to anyone. The accommodation and staff are first class. As an ole timer of few words use to say to me, "Enough Said".

First trip to KJKA last weekend, many more to come! Been meaning to get here, only an hour away from home, and with nasty weather at our destination (4R9/Dauphin Island), we had the perfect excuse! Lineman met us on the ramp and was ready to meet any need. Told him we were just stopping over for wx & lunch, but could use some fuel too, and by the time we walked in the door the friendly ladies were there with a courtesy-car key in hand! Went to LuLu's of course (where we'd been wanting to go), and it surpassed our high expectations too! My little girl really LOVED the huge sand box, had to drag her out! THANKS to all the friendly folks who turned an unexpected layover into a fantastic memory, and we WILL be back soon!!

This is a well run FBO. The line service and CSRs are second-to-none. I travel the world as a GLEX aviator and cannot say that I've often been better treated as a customer in that capacity as I have been at KJKA in a Bonanza. Gulf Shores may be a 'small town' but this FBO is 'Big Time' in service.

Flew into Jack Edwards for a "hamburger run" to Lulu's. I cannot say enough about the service. The last time I saw linemen jump out of their golf cart to guide in our little Bonanza was a decade ago. They had no idea if we were staying overnight or purchasing fuel (which we did, though pricey) and still laid out the red carpet for us. They even loaned us a courtesy car for the 1 mi ride to Lulu's. This will be a must stop location when traveling to the "Redneck Riviera"!

Not worth the extra expense. Should have gone to Foley. Receptionist was rude several times. FBO was still under construction. 15.00 a day for a tie down is ridiculous considering we already paid + 6.00 for gas. I thought since this was a family vacation to the Gulf it would be nice to land at a "red carpet airport" but I will not be back.
Response from Teri Jackson, Director of Aviation, Jet Center South Mr Steele, we are truly sorry that your experience at Jet Center South was not a good one. We do appologize and work hard to make sure our customers are happy. It appears we failed you and appreciate your comment as it shows us we need to always strive to do better. We are also sorry for the inconvience of the construction. The Airport Authority is building a terminal expansion and Airport Authority office. When done it will allow many additional features for customers ie. larger break room, showers and large executive conference room that we hope all will enjoy. We hope you do give us another try someday.. Thank you for your business.

Landed here recently for a vacation in Gulf Shores. The service here is remarkable!!! When we got out, the red carpet was rolled down and the rent-a-car was sitting behind the aircraft with the a/c on cool (Very helpful during the hot summer). Two of the lineman where there and helped us remove our luggage. They were very polite and helpful. In all, I will most definitely return here and recommend this airport to anyone looking to go to Gulf Shores.

What a GREAT place to stop!!! On our trip to the Bahamas and Sun n Fun, we stopped both ways. Lulu's is not to be missed! The staff here is wonderful, very helpful and stayed open late because they heard us shooting the approach. They got four very tired people a crew car and a room for the night and had our twin fueled early the next morning. The fuel is pricey but the service makes up for it! This is a MUST stop for us.

Stopped in for an overnight in a light jet. Even though they increased the landing fees there is no minimum fuel purchase to waive the fee. We bought enough fuel to get back home. They were more than willing to be competitive on fuel prices. The line service is top notch. You get the same service if you are in a Falcon or a cub. Crew car is available. WiFi in lobby and comfortable place to be. CSR's are friendly and very helpful. Lu-Lu's is a great place to eat just around the corner. We always look forward to trip to Gulf Shores, AL.

Nice facility and nice folks. They loaned us the crew car for lunch. The big negative is they have increased the ramp fee for light jets from $100 to $175. My passengers indicated they would go to Foley or Fairhope in the future.

Top notch service once again. There was a fly-in going on when we arrived, we had no interest in that, we needed fuel and tie down for 5 days. They immediately took care of our needs, had the rental car at the plane when we parked, helped us unload and load baggage, fueled us and towed the plane to tie down right away. Upon leaving, they had the plane brought to the front and helped us load. Excellent service all the way.

Note the statement of "no landing fees" however they do have a "ramp and handling fee". I was charged $100 today for a citation 501 without a fuel purchase. Personnel were friendly and they let us use the crew car for lunch. No fees for single engine.

These people are great. I landed and was met with a friendly smile. I called ahead on my departure date for fuel, and my aircraft was fueled and ready to go upon arrival. Fast, friendly service, but pricy fuel. Buying fuel waives only 1 night's tie-down fee ($15/night).

Fast & friendly service. We were greeted with excellent service when we arrived. The on-site Enterprise Car Rental desk was very convenient. We stayed 9 days. There is a $15 per day parking fee for light singles. One day's parking fee was waived with fuel purchase. The terminal is very nice with flight planning facilities. A little pricey, but excellent service and in the right place!

Outstanding service and a very nice place to overnight and wait out weather between Dallas and Key Largo. We booked a room at the La Quinta, and Brandon just drove us over there instead of making us get a taxi. On the trip back, Roni got us a nicely discounted room rate at the Marriott Courtyard. Onsite car rental counter made things quick and easy. Nice lounge with TV and leather sofas, a weather briefing room. Lots of jets but they still put out an actual red carpet for my little 1960 Mooney.

Had a very nice experience at Jet Center South. The lineman marshaled us in directly in front of the FBO building, rolled out the red carpet, and had our Enterprise car parked and cooled down even before we exited the airplane. All this for a Cherokee. They also helped schlep our bags to and from the airplane to our car. Great service.

I received excellent service on a long weekend stay (4/12-4/15). After shutting down my Piper Archer III I was surprised to get out of the plane and step onto a red carpet. Lineman was very friendly and professional. During this weekend Gulf Shores had a pretty good thunderstorm roll thru with high winds and I was very pleased to see my plane had been tied down. Jet Center South does charge an overnight fee of $15 for light single engine aircraft. One overnight was waved with fuel purchase. Nice big HD flat panel TV in snooze room. First Class Operation!!

Yesterday, 03/24/07, we attended their first Gulf Coast Pilots fly-in. All of the staff was very pleasant and cordial. We were personally met by Mike and he directed us to our parking spot...He then introduced himself and welcomed us to the event. The food was great...And they were only asking for a $2 donation and 1/2 was going to a charitable organization. We were happy to (as I am sure most pilots/people did) make a "worthy" donation! Their door prize assortment was very varied and quite extensive...They had put a lot of time and effort into contacting vendors, etc. Although we did not win the Grand Prize (a new handheld radio), we did win a $25 gift certificate for Lambert's Café (the home of throwed rolls)...For us this was great. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all the staff and management for their hard work and hospitality to all the attendees. Thank You! Fast & friendly service, we were greeted with red carpet service when we arrived. Thanks to Michael Curtis for the friendly and fast line service, and the girl at the front desk that heard me trying to rent a car at the Hertz desk that had none available, when I walked away she called me over and had another place to call, we had a car on site in 30 min. I topped off the tanks when we left after a two-day stay. I got home and looked at the invoice and they had charged me $10.00 for one of the days I don't know which one or why they decided to charge me for.

Their $100 jet landing fee is still in effect. Lineman tipped us to the fact that even a small amount of gas would waive that. Was able to negotiate 50 gal purchase to waive two landing fees for the day.
