Dec 2007. Helpful, enthusiastic people at FBO. Very clean, spacious lounge, restrooms. Call ahead & they'll meet you if after hours. On your approach, keep an eye out for a beautiful but NORDO yellow Stearman.

Just wanted to say thanks to all at Skyways Aero and David Bogan Aircraft Services for the great experience on 10/28/06.During the Reklaw fly-in I had some strut problems on the Cherokee 180 I was flying. Both venues were most helpful and cooperative and got me squared away. The maintenance fee was reasonable and the FBO let me go over the charge amount so I could have some "cash" to spend. Nice to see these kind of folks in GA who will do all they can to help out. Great job ya'll!!!

We stopped at Cherokee County Airport for fuel and a rental car from Skyways Aero. I have never been treated better in my life at an FBO. Clint and the folks at Skyways Aero went out of the their way to make us feel at home. Fuel was very reasonable and they even had FREE pizza for their customers. They have a pilot lounge there that is nicer than most FBOs I have seen in the Houston area. I reserved a car from Bob Francis Ford in Rusk Texas and Clint had it ready when we arrived. After we got back from Reklaw, I returned the car and we got in our plane and headed back to Houston. I was so taken by the down home hospitality that I left my digital camera on the counter at Skyways Aero. I was shocked to find out that Clint found it and was holding it until someone claimed it. He went out of his way to ship it back to my house in Houston. Honesty and integrity like that is hard to find in people these days. Skyways Aero at Cherokee County Airport in northeast Texas is a must stop for anyone.

Friendly and helpful service at Skyways Aero. We reserved a car through the local Ford dealer, which was going to be left with the FBO for Sunday pickup since the Ford dealer is closed. Unfortunately they forgot to bring the car out to the airport, and my mistake for not calling on Saturday to remind them. The lineman at the FBO offered us the use of his personal car to go to the State Park to board the Texas State Railroad steam train between Rusk and Palestine. Very gracious and helpful chap. Fuel was reasonable, full service through a fuel island. Highly recommend anyone stopping here and using these folks.
