The line crew was fast and efficient in providing a quick turn around on my recent refueling stop in LBB. The FBO facilities are better than average, and the staff very friendly!

Tonight in LBB, a severe thunderstorm popped up and our Brasilia was out on the ramp. Just as it started to hail and lightning the pilot asked the staff to hangar our bird. The Chaparral staff braved extreme conditions to protect our asset and for that Ameriflight is truly grateful.

We did not have a good experience at Chaparral. We landed between sorties for a CAP mission. MP called the night before and was told a local sandwich shop would deliver - we just needed to call it in. When we arrived, the employee rang up $36 for two sandwiches. Turns out there was a $20 delivery and "convenience" charge. It got worse. MP asked to have the airplane filled to the tabs. They filled the right wing to the top with only 20 gallons on the left. Lastly, MP also asked for a quart of oil and the guy brought us turbine oil. We will not be landing there again.

I was in LBB at Chaparral the week of 2.24.08. The facility, service and staff of CJC continue to be excellent. It remains on my top 5 list of FBO's in the U.S.

I just returned from a trip to LBB. I checked AirNav before departure and was shocked to see that Chaparral Jet Center was not listed! On arrival, though, I found that Chaparral is still in business and going strong. I quickly detoured to their ramp. I am pleased to report that Chaparral still ranks as one of my favorite FBOs in the country. Recently remodeled, same friendly staff (Stephanie is wonderful!), reasonable fuel, free crew car. Make plans to stop there when you are at LBB.

Have been flying into Lubbock and using Chaparral for the last five years. It is THE best place for the "little man" compared to the other side of the airport. Superb lineman service, cheaper fuel, superior customer service and has excellent facilities. Will continue to make them my FBO for all trips to Lubbock and surrounding area.

This place takes advantage of the little man. It is worth the 30 cents per gallon to go to the other side of the 'port. The Lineman here do not know what they are doing, need someone to hold their hand every step of the way. Was a loyal customer for over 6 months flying in several times a month, thought was offered complimentary hangar and was later charged $100 all for a C172. Take your money and your plane elsewhere.

I am pleased to report that this FBO is still top notch. I stopped in in late May 2006 and all was great. Newly refurbished lounge area with the same great staff. Jet-A is no longer a bargain (here or anywhere else, I am sad to say), but it is still cheaper than the competition.

Refueled on the way to MRY from MCO. Easy airport to get in and out of. CHAPARRAL's service was first rate. We called ahead and had a couple of box lunches waiting for us. They were good. Fuel prices were excellent. The girl behind the counter was very helpful. Good place to stop.

Stopped in for fuel on the way to KSDL. We called ahead and asked for some sandwiches to be catered for the crew. When we arrived, we were given some of the best bar-b-q beef sandwiches I have ever eaten ... FREE .... Excellent place to stop in. We will be back!!!

Landed there twice over the Thanksgiving Holidays. Both times the service was great. I used the internet to reserve a car and it was there when I arrived. Kirby, the night manager, brought the rental car out planeside and helped me tie down. I'll go back.

After looking at the difference in fuel price between Chaparral and Lubbock Aero prior to departure, I was a little worried that Chapparal would be a dump. On the contrary, it is a very nice facility with all the amenities and the fuel is as advertised. Save the money and go to Chaparral.
