I kind of have mixed feelings after showing up the next morning to leave. My previous post I had submitted the night before this happened: I had requested that our company aircraft be put in the hangar before thunderstorms arrived and come to find out that our aircraft stayed outside the whole entire time after we had spent in excess of $400 having it cleaned a day prior to coming to Lubbock. Disappointing that companies can't do what you ask them, which makes me wonder with the hotel issue, whether the FBO is really to blame for the whole matter. Maybe we need to take our business elsewhere on the field. Makes me rethink where I will take fuel in the future and whether I will support their other business in Abilene the next time we visit there as well. At least I can black flag one FBO for our corporate flight department.

The services here are great. As far as hotels go, stay away from the Homewood Suites. Staff failed to mention to Lubbock Aero that due to the football game tonight that they had a 2 night minimum. Did not find this out until going to check in. We were not here for the game. GM at the hotel was rude on the phone and would not give us any break. We took our business elsewhere and will let them dispute it out with the credit card company. Their fault and they still didn't want to correct the problem. Bad Customer Service at it's best. Great service from Emily and Becca for a crazy weekend.

We stopped in for fuel f/ KSOW to KHDC. A possible issue needed to be checked out on my 206. They jumped right on it and had us back in the air within hours. Superb service.

Good but not great experience delivering our kid for his freshman year at TTech. Was met at the plane with a helpful smile and arranged for fuel. No offer to help with the bags, but I managed to get them to the terminal in one trip. Efficient, friendly service at the desk where they confirmed the $40/nt hangar rate and secured the hotel shuttle van. They do not have the towbar equipment for our DA40. Asked me for my hand tow bar which I retrieved. On my return, plane was pulled just out of the hangar because they had only 1 lineman available. They carted us with our bags over to the plane. Overall the service was good and we will return many times while our son is in school. Just not the service I usually see when the fuel price is north of $6.00+ per gal. Maybe if we are there enough, they will get the towbar for castering nose wheels.

Stopped at Lubbock Aero on Jul 2nd for fuel another positive experience from them. Though my stops are just fuel and turn, they have always been great and follow up after the visit. Let's you know they appreciate your business.

Excellent and friendly service at the FBO. No charge for the tiedown with fuel. Fuel price was as advertised - $6.09. They recommended a hotel with a crew rate and arranged for a hotel shuttle to take us to town. Only problem is it took the shuttle over an hour to get to the airport. It wasn't the FBO's fault but get them to call ASAP.

Lubbock Aero is very helpful and professional. Nice people. Also arranged for us to stay at the Overton Hotel, which was terrific -- way beyond expectations. We are not from the area but will stop there again if there is a choice among West Texas stops.

Good service for an overnight in my single piston. Rental car was ready and waiting, front desk helped me get an inexpensive room at the Holiday Inn, line guys were quick to help me out. Overnight tie-down was even thoughtfully on the leeside of a hangar.

I flew in a Mooney from Abilene to Lubbock. Usually I rent from a flight school but this time I had my own plane. The weather dropped to freezing the night I landed the airplane. I requested a tie down for the first night and a HANGAR for the second. After I gave the instructions to a woman who probably couldn't pass a basic West Texas smile test, I called back later on the second night to make sure everything was good. I was reassured everything was fine and the plane was in the HANGAR. Lo and Behold, when I got there my Mooney was still outside, in the cold. (My Mooney has no prime, or choke, m20C). I waited about 30 minutes before the ladies got their act together. To their credit, they gave me my airport stay for free (tiedowns are 5 dollars a night aren't they sweet). Gas prices are way too high here. Stop at a little airport before you buy gas here.

Excellent, efficient staff. Line staff was great. They drove our rental car right to the plane and loaded our baggage without being asked. Desk staff was friendly and helpful in providing info. Treated us like we were flying a biz jet instead of a private single engine Cessna.

Had a minor problem with a starter early on a Sunday morning. The young lady at the desk contacted their mechanic Vernon Wright who came out uncowled the engine, repaired our starter problem and had us on our way. Vernon's good humor and professionalism are to be commended.

Landed in LBB due to thunderstorms and had to overnight here. Was fine until they handed me the "terms and conditions" of service that I had to sign or leave the plane outside. You can leave the plane on the ramp and they will not move it or put it in the hangar but if its in the hangar you have to "release Lubbock Aero from any damages" due to wind etc. So if a storm comes over and blows part of the hangar into the plane you are paying to hangar, you pay for it and the FBO and their insurance walks off scott free? Sorry, the line service was great and desk people fine but will never return here.

Once again Lubbock Aero has provided great service. I do not fly a Jet A aircraft only a T-210 but they provided me with all the amenities and services that the high speed drivers get. Jennifer had my car waiting when I got there and all it took was an email to request it. Thanks again Lubbock Aero and kudos to Jennifer.

Had to divert to LBB due to weather at planned stop. Very good service, but fuel price was $1.39/gal higher than planned stop. (About 50-70NM) This is a 28% difference. While everyone deserves to make a profit, this kind of pricing is killing general aviation.

Arrived about 8 PM and needed a room. Wasn't a problem. Plane spent the night in a hangar (didn't request it) and all aspects of the service were top notch. Great FBO.
