We flew in to Latrobe to check out DiNunzio's restaurant on the field and meet a friend for lunch. Vee Neal's guys were friendly and helpful, facility was clean and useful. Fuel prices at the low end of the going rates these days, as well. I couldn't figure out why there wasn't more traffic at KLBE on such a pretty Saturday: seems like a great place to get that $100-plus hamburger (pasta, in this case: DiNunzio's is quite respectable Italian fare.) But, it was just us in our Arrow, and a couple of corp jets.

I wrote a similar report TWO YEARS AGO!!! And I am glad to say I am still a regular at this FBO. Vee Neal has been absolutely marvelous to my guests, business associates and me alike. The Maintenance Staff is top notch and always willing to go beyond the call of duty for tenants and transients alike! When you are in a hurry there is always someone marshalling you in...And the fuel service is always a quick turn...Jet or Piston..Everybody counts here! SERVICE MATTERS! These folks deserve your business.

After brunch on a beautiful Sunday, plane wouldn't start. Line crew removed and lubricated starter. Plane started up and we were on our way. Saved us a lot of time and expense, as the mechanic was nowhere to be found. Definitely above and beyond the call of duty!

Flew to LBE last Sunday for a Socata aircraft owners get together. The folks at Vee Neal couldn't be more helpful. We were met at the taxiway and guided to parking. Fuel prices are the cheapest I have paid in quite awhile. Keep up the great work Vee Neal.

The folks at Vee Neal deserve your business. I stopped with my family for a day trip to Idlewild Park. Before we cleared the taxiway, someone was waiting to flag us into the parking area. Within minutes of hearing our plans for the day, they fixed us up with transportation. Fuel prices were a pleasant surprise so we had them top us off. We ate at Denuzio's chophouse in the terminal and thought the food was great. We'll definitely be back. Vee Neal folks work hard to please and it shows!! Keep it up and thanks.

Yesterday evening, I received a call from Angel Flight asking if I could make an emergency Lifeguard flight from Norfolk to Pittsburgh to fly a lung transplant patient. Fly out of Richmond to make the pickup, I knew we would not get into PIT until 10:45. I had a regularly scheduled Angel Flight from Philadelphia to North Carolina in the morning so I spent the night at Latrobe about 70 miles SE of PIT. Don at Vee Neal Aviation fueled me for $1 a gallon less than Pittsburgh prices and let me catch a nap in the pilot's lounge. What a beautiful facility! Anyone gets the same price and service. You don't have to be flying a volunteer mercy flight. I'll be returning Saturday for my second cousin's wedding and Don and the good folks at Vee Neal have won my business!

Vee Neal is a good FBO. Not slick and fancy, but they give you what they say they will. Heated hangar was available and helped us a lot. Hours of operation well beyond tower opening and closing.

I am very impressed with the services at Vee Neal. I landed at LBE late Friday night due to mechanical difficulties. The linesmen came right out to guide me in and see if there was anything I needed. I let them know I will be staying overnight. By the time I grabbed all my gear and walked into the FBO the linesman called and found a hotel room for me and told me since the rental car places are closed, I could take the crew car for the night. The FBO is nice with a crew lounge and even pool table. I will recommend Vee Neal to any pilot.

I was in a rush and left my cell phone in the rental car, and took off in a hurry to beat some storms. I got a call from Cleveland Center asking me if I wanted to land and pick it up. Yeah...Right. So Vee Neal promptly wrapped it up and FedEx it to me at no charge. Samantha at Vee Neal was so nice, and their service and fuel prices are just excellent. I can't recommend them enough if you are going to Latrobe or even the Pittsburgh area, as Pittsburgh is just 50 minutes west.

Dropped in from Boston the other day to pick up a marriage license. Lineman was out on the ramp before we cleared the runway in our 182, and had the fuel truck on the scene before we closed our flight plan. Appreciate the prompt friendly service! Stopped at KLBE at noon on Sunday for a quick turn. Line crew was polite, prompt and efficient. Facilities are very nice and very clean. Class operation and the fuel price reflect that. You take your choice and pay your money.

I feel that I must mention the superior service I've been getting lately as I am a regular at this FBO. Employees Don, Donna, Roland, and Russ have been absolutely marvelous to me, my guests and business associates alike. On the ferry flight home just the other day with a newly purchased Bonanza, we arrived on a cold night, the crew had my car cleaned, running and waiting as we arrived from a long flight. What a nice touch! When you are in a hurry there is always someone marshalling you in and the fuel service is always a quick turn. SERVICE MATTERS! It is the only way to hold on to current customers while we all look for new ones! These folks deserve your business.
