Great fuel stop, especially if you need to stay the night like we did. We got the crew car and a discounted rate at the nearby Fairfield Inn. Thanks Karl, We will always try to make the Crew Car available after hours if you just call ahead. We do have a great Pilots rate of $79 at the brand new Fairfield Inn, and we are working on more promotions with other local hotels and restaurants.

We stopped at LBT on our way from Allentown, PA (XLL) to Daytona Beach. Great FBO. People are very friendly, self-service fuel easy to use (and very inexpensive). They have the necessary flight-planning computer so I could file my flight plan via DUATS. We were offered a crew car, but didn't use it because we brought our lunch to minimize turnaround time. Staff was very friendly and efficient. To prove my recommendation, we stopped back on our return trip. So I will use it again! Had an identical experience. Only drawback with LBT is that there is no RCO or easy way to pick up IFR clearance on the ground. We were able to depart VFR and activate our IFR flight plan in the air with Fayetteville departure, who were very accommodating in doing this. However, if we needed to depart IFR, would have to call FSS, and I would anticipate some delay in leaving. So I probably would stop somewhere else if the weather wouldn't allow a VFR departure.
