1st visit to KLEE was 2-17-13 for vacation to visit family. Great service as Jamie directed us to apron, chocked wheels and had carpet down before we opened the door. Rental car was brought to the plane for quick transfer of baggage. Staff inside had car rental forms ready. Requested tiedown and fill up. On departure the morning of 2-21-13 (gave 1hr lead time call) counter service was good however 3 line hands sat as we shuffled in 6 bags, paid for full service fuel, and then were pointed to our plane by the line hand which was still tied down 150 yds away. I usually tip more for 5 minutes of good assistance than they make in an hour. I will be returning and hope for the service provided by Jamie.Response from Austin Windham, Line Manager, SunAir Aviation Mr. Spence, I want to sincerely thank you for choosing Sunair on your recent visit to KLEE. I apologize that our service upon departure did not meet your expectations. We take great pride in our friendly staff and customer service as we strive daily to make each and every visit to our FBO one of pleasure. We are always happy to help with baggage, and our limo golf cart makes for a quick and easy transfer. The line hands you mentioned must have been mistaken for our flight instructors who were having a pre flight meeting in the FBO. Also, it is our policy at Sunair Aviation not to move or untie customer aircraft without being specifically instructed to do so by the pilot. However, if you ask us to do so in your lead call, then we will be more than happy to untie your aircraft and have it waiting for you at the front of the ramp. We value your business Mr. Spence, and hope to exceed your expectations next visit!

Amazing Service! Unplanned stop during a long cross-country flight out of state due to a gear malfunction in flight. Within minutes of landing the folks at SunAir dropped everything to get the plane on jacks and soon found that the hydraulic lines had sprung a leak. It was nearly a quick turn even with our maintenance problems. They had us back in the air in no time! Even though we were in a single engine Piper we were treated like kings - a must stop in the future!

Already gets great reviews for cheap gas. We were AOG there right before Christmas due to a mag problem, they were hospitable, fixed the problem in no time for a reasonable fee while loaning us a car to run errands and I can't say enough good things about Sunair! (Only complaint is hours, a hard 7 am - 7 pm, otherwise, the place is deserted and no access to bathrooms!). I would recommend this place to anyone, anytime.

Consistently some of the cheapest fuel in the state. SS pump is right below the tower. Awesome stop to tanker up before heading down to South Florida and their sky high fuel prices. SS pump worked great, and price was as advertised. If fueling at night, though, be sure you have a good flashlight, as the area around the SS pump wasn't well lit, and it is really dark there at night.

They really know how to do a quick turn! Friendly, fast service with a smile. Line guy was a pro. Fuel truck was at the parking spot. By the time I had the cabin door open, fuel was flowing and their red carpet was out. Had our fuel uplifted quicker than my bladder was downloaded...Under 5 minutes total from engine shut down to engine relight...WOW!!! I am looking forward to going back.

Stopped in for fuel on the way home from Sun n Fun. Staff was prompt and courteous! Lineman was nice to talk with for a few minutes as he is also a pilot so a little "ramp" talk was enjoyed. Will definitely stop again!!!

Great FBO and nice little airport. Friendly staff, and crew car was available with any fuel purchase. I highly recommend stopping here if you are close by.

Excellent service from the line to the front desk. They had the rental car ready and pulled it up to the plane. The facilities are first rate. Stayed 2 nights and the ramp fee ($5) per night for a piston twin was reasonable. I didn't see a printer in the flight planning area but computer access was available and the computers were first rate. Highly recommend this airport if you are planning a trip to the area.

First Class FBO! Stopped in last minute and unplanned - due to the late time we chose to stay the night. After triple chocking the aircraft out of the way and getting a hotel, we awoke the next morning to learn the local cab service was too busy to transport us from the hotel back to the airport. The FBO owner himself quickly drove down and picked three of us up and took us back to the airplane, which had been towed to a nice tiedown spot. The folks at SunAir provided really exceptional service at a modern and clean FBO. I'll be planning a visit to SunAir in my future flights near Central Florida.

I have to say the other comments are true! It's a pleasure every time I arrive, and they do act like they are competing for the business. Great service, good prices. Looking forward to LEE being my home base soon!

I operate a citation jet for an owner that tips very gracious since he was in the service industry many years. Having arrived on the field, I learned that single engine aircraft were not charged a ramp fee. Since we burned kerosene, we were charged $100.00 ramp fee after I requested to purchase 50 gallons of jet fuel at retail price. Decided not to buy 50 gallons since the $100 ramp would still be charged. As a note, we offered to fly seven young kids from the local community and 100 gallons would exceed my maximum landing weight. FYI we still tipped the line service guy. Job well done. Never hold someone else hostage for another persons actions.
