Flew in the afternoon of Sunday, May 22 in my Cardinal, expecting to overnight while Jamie of ACE Avionics figured out my avionics problem. The Airport lent me a car for the expected overnight stay. I taxied over to ACE & Jamie tugged me right into his pristine shop. He was already working on Sunday! Within a half hour he diagnosed & corrected a bent connector pin & I was on my way, after returning the car keys. Great airport & services & great avionics shop!

Excellent service. My wife and I flew our Turbo Arrow into KLGD for a 3-day weekend. The FBO staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Flight-planning facilities and restrooms were in tip-top shape. Be aware that there is no self-serve fuel at KLGD; there is only full-serve, so make sure you fuel during FBO business hours (7 days a week, until 7 pm during the summer and 6 pm in winter, I believe.) While there are no rental cars at the airport, MJ Goss Motors in La Grande will drop off a rental car at the airport for pilots. That's what we did, and it worked great. We'll be back!
