Set down here due to T-storms, what a great little airport. Walked across the highway to eat and it made for a nice unexpected stop. Nice lounge, a weather computer would not hurt. Thank You Limon

Flew in today. As always, cute little airport, generally well kept up, with friendly locals who might be there. The pilot lounge is small, neat, warm and dry. DO take notice that the truck stop and restaurant that was across the highway is now closed (moved uptown). However, there's still a national hamburger chain, a national pizza chain and a Chinese take-out within walking distance. Always a fun stop!

Limon (KLIC) self-service 100LL pump worked fine today (Visa credit card). Nice little pilot lounge with the necessaries. Very little traffic so was a very efficient fuel stop. Enjoy.

I spoke with the Town of Limon today asking about MoGas. They said there is no plan to fix the broken pump.

Stopped into Limon again today. As usual, when there is someone there, you can count on them being friendly. Today there were several people at the airport, and they're all nice folks. Stop in!

Good place to stop, after not being able to get into the Denver area because of weather. Fuel was what it is listed here, nice building with a phone and bathroom. Not much else around, but a good place. Watch density altitude.

Had the misfortune of having to make an emergency landing here, after a mechanical problem. This is an unattended small airfield, but nonetheless one local who heard our emergency landing intentions on his scanner drove to the airport to see if he could help. We have made many ROUTINE landings at Limon, and have always encountered gracious, friendly people here.

Stopped for gas. Pump price was shown as 3.19. Receipt spits out a charge of 3.499. Called the City and they said they would have comeone contact me. Never heard a thing. Nothing here, not even a phone, but cheap gas.......oops, that's not cheap! Hopefully an honest mistake. La Junta or Colorado Springs are usually cheaper.
