Flying East from CA I usually stop here for well-priced fuel on a good airport. Just beware it is just west of the last peaks of the Rockies. Once over those peaks you'll have to drop like a rock.

I stopped here for fuel today... 3 pm on a summer weekday and nobody was there. The self-serve fuel worked fine, and the bathroom on the west side of the building was open.

Best fuel price next to 18V, much closer to the metropolitan area. Good to support this operator as competition on the field is trying to put him out of business. Free beer for FAC, but no flying after! Get a room for the night and enjoy the mountains!

Refueled my Bonanza there yesterday (10-26-08). Price was $3.97/gal. Pretty standard self-serve pump. FWIW, the fuel line retracts via a spring mechanism similar to how many vacuums retract their electric cord -- there is NO power retract switch as I've seen on some of these self serve pumps. Suggest as you approach the pump down the diagonal taxiway, swing slightly right then turn left so that you are parallel parking to the pump, with the pump directly off your right wing tip. In this manner you will be parking slightly uphill, which may make your refueling slightly more accurate (it does for an F-33A). Overall, a very nice self-serve pump in the Greater Denver area with a very good price.

Note: the pump is still on the NE side of the field, but the rotating beacon has moved. Follow the diagonal NE-running taxiway through the hangars to find the pump. Consistently about the lowest prices around, nice to see folks making it possible for us to keep flying.

Fuel pricing appears to be very good. FBO is very small & way on the end of the field. Put 70 gals in & asked if we could tie-down there (presumably for free since we bought fuel), but they're so small they were out of spaces. The other FBO only charged $3 for the night though, so it wasn't bad. Everyone was nice there.

In this day of OUTRAGEOUS fuel prices, it's nice to see an FBO that is really trying to "hold the line." They earned my business.

Taxi to the Rotating Beacon. Easy in/out. All new & waiting for your business.

Stopped here for the first time today. You have to LOOK for this FBO, but just look for the red tower at the SE corner of the airport. Hassle-free fueling system at a great price. A recommended stop as far as I'm concerned
