Arrived near closing time. Attendant offered help with the fueling and stayed past closing to finish the transaction while I tied down the airplane. Tie down was $7 per night with first night waived with fuel purchase. Have used this facility several years on past flights west from FL --never had bad service.

Linemen make this airport excellent. Even on self-service they will often help ground you plane or do something to go above and beyond.

I fly to LXT about two times a year. Good place, clean area, plenty of tie downs, and Mogas (91 oct). Enterprise will leave a car out front with the keys at the front desk of the FBO. There are several hotels nearby. As mentioned before, the Hampton provides a "pilot" that is better than the AARP or military rate (about $79).

Manager will often meet you on the ramp and even offer to help with tie-down. Great service for being near such a large city.

We flew into LXT on 23 July 2010. We are in and out of here a lot. The airport manager greeted us and knowing that we are from out of town gave us the latest plans on parking lot work and other construction happening so that we wouldn't happen upon it unexpectedly. Just one example of the many ways that this is a great airport to fly into. These guys are wonderful.

Stopped here on the way to Oshkosh. When other airports gouge you on fuel, these folks have a coupon in FLY LOW. $3.04 for mogas - this is cheapest we've paid for fuel in years! Luke & Kelly are top notch gentlemen that take great care of the people & their planes. The Crewcar is the nicest we've ever seen! Mention that you are a pilot & flew into Lees Summit Airport & save $$$ at Hampton Inn! Our room, typically $119 was $79. That is certainly worth mentioning. We will stop here on the way home & any time we get over this way.

Stopped in Lee's Summit on the way to Oshkosh last year. Staff extremely friendly. I will certainly stop again next week.

Great airport to fly into. Friendly service and a self serve pump for fuel anytime. The facilities were nice and clean. Will be back!

VERY friendly folks, I've been in a couple times and they come out and help me tie down, and offer a crew car every time. FBO is left unlocked for 24-hour access to bathrooms, weather, and soda machine.
