Was going to stop at Marion County on my way to the Florida Keys on Thanksgiving Day. Weather kept me from showing up but even on this day they were willing to come fuel my plane. I stopped on my way home the following Monday, what a nice airport with nice people.

Friendly service, cheapest fuel enroute. Free Wireless Internet. Fuel service closes at 5pm, Comfort Inn at the end of the street on left.

Flew in to Marion County last week on a return trip from Florida with a minor electrical power issue. The gentleman on duty drove us to Wal-Mart and then dove out to the field to jump-start us from his truck. These folks are top-notch and go way out of their way to help. I feel like I have family in Marion County!

Stopped in at KMAO on Christmas Eve (24 Dec 2008) because KFLO was had closed early and we needed fuel. Great service! The manager came out at no extra charge and was waiting when we got there a little prior to our ETA (we had called ahead by phone). I will make it a point to stop there with our Maule from now on as weather allows!

Great service and the gas was only 3.50/gal...Even lower than advertised. No 24 hr capability (no card reader) but they come out after hours no sweat. Definite winner.

Stopped there on my way from Lauderdale to Morristown. Great fuel prices as well as service. No restaurants but after fueling my plane the good lady volunteered to take her car and buy lunch for us. Beautiful quiet airport. I'll stop her at every opportunity

My experience was similar to others who have posted. I found MAO looking for a relatively inexpensive fuel stop and was pleased with the choice. Fast and friendly service. The only weather option on the field is the Weather Channel and your only two options for an IFR clearance are to call Florence (using the number posted at the counter) or depart VFR and pick it up airborne. I'll be back as long as they maintain their competitive price.

Great place to stop for quick, cheap gas on my way to Florida. I always stop here and will continue to. It's always tough to see until right on top of it, it seems. I like to use the ADF on the field to make it easy.

Stopped for fuel en route from Florida to Pennsylvania because of the outstanding fuel price. The airport attendant graciously refueled my plane at the self-serve pump. Clean bathroom, but be aware that facility closes at 5pm. The only food is vending candy and PB crackers. But oh, that fuel price!

10 April 2007 - First time flying into my hometown. No charge for overnight with fuel purchase. A very nice young lady fueled the plane at the self-serve while I got my luggage together. Fuel price was great. Service was wonderful. I shall return. PS Good coffee.
