Great stop! Andy came dashing out to help me push the Super 18 LT to the gas pump and helped set up the ladder/drag the fuel hose out/run the credit card. Certainly can't argue with full service for self service price! He also gave us a ride to a nearby restaurant as well and was extremely courteous as was everyone else we dealt with at MBT. They don't have a courtesy car but will gladly give you a ride if you need it so don't let that discourage you. MTSU has their aviation program based there so I would imagine it could get busy during the school year on a nice day.

I have temporarily based my airplane at MBT on three occasions over the last three years and can say nothing but great things about the staff, facilities, and locals here. I never met anyone involved with the airport that wasn't friendly and willing to go out of their way to give me a hand. Overall, MBT is a fantastic airport and, I would argue, the finest in Middle Tennessee.

Stopped in for the first time this week for fuel and a passenger pickup. Manager and Assistant could not have been friendlier, including assistance with self serve fuel and moving plane. Extremely clean and up to date facility, with a nice 3/4 glass lounge/viewing area. Good amount of traffic there, but excellent pattern conformity (as is their request of all aircraft) and good communication by student pilots and others. (Must be running some very professional schools there.) I look forward to my next visit and, due to the nice facility and large ramp, I highly recommend to pilots that need anything beyond simple "fuel and go" stop in Central Tennessee.

I flew there on 6/9 for a basketball camp at MTSU, and due to weather delays I was running behind. They put the plane up for me, and in my frazzled state I couldn't remember if I had turned off the master switch (I have never forgotten to do it, but my OCD wouldn't let me forget about it) so I called them to ask them to check for me, which they did (and I had indeed turned it off). They do a good job of making you feel important and cutting out any hassles....

Give another 5 stars to Steve and Chad at Murfreesboro Muni for taking care of their customers. The area was under a severe weather alert and they called and offered hangar space for the duration of the storm which we took advantage of – nice new hangars too! I also liked the drive-your-car-to-the-plane-to-unload-your-luggage option. Excellent facilities all the way around.

Very happy place to visit. They came out with a ladder in hand for fueling our Cessna even though we were in the self-serve category. I was impressed with the heavy-duty tie downs and the clean facilities. While in town, I called Chad to double-check my master switch and he made me feel guilt free about asking him to do it (was off too). Nice, safe, friendly small town feeling, which helps to de-stress after a long flight. Be advised that flight training is constant, but the students seemed well trained to enter the pattern correctly, so no issues, just a lot of traffic coming and going.
