Great fuel prices, friendly staff. Crew cars...Were worn out 20 years ago. But they run and got us into town and back. Good quick-turn service and always-helpful people. They finally got on Internet in the lobby, which is great.

Let's add to the chorus. This is a great stop! Picked because they were half way DCA to SFO area and they had wonderful comments. The only negative may be that high-roller customers won't understand the homey FBO with a cold walk thru the hangar to the bathrooms. But for my 3 male customers, they loved the stop, Shirley the competent counter, friendly service, quick turn on fuel, good prices and the delicious Turkey Sandwiches catered by a local Cafe. If you are not giving Red Willow your business, there is something wrong with your planning.

I planned McCook as a fuel stop from Kansas City to Rock Springs WY on November 23, 2007. When I called Unicom I was quickly given the weather and traffic advisories and told a fuel truck would meet me when I arrived. The stop was quick, efficient and the people at Red Willow Aviation were very pleasant. I would recommend this as a fuel stop when traveling cross-country.

Stopped in on my way to Montana from Texas. The service was great and this airport knows what GA is about. I have been stopping here for the last four years anytime my route takes me this way. Easy in and out Nice runways and You always know that they are going to be competitive with the fuel price even though this is full service while you stretch you're legs and use the facilities. Thanks.

If you are looking for great fuel prices and great service, this is the place to stop to refuel on cross country flights. Everyone is competent and courteous. And fast. I know when flight planning that I can count on a quick turn at Red Willow and my pockets won't be empty when I leave.

Flew in over Labor Day weekend after hours low on fuel and called everyone on the after hour list-A young man (didn't write his name down) came out to the airport and fueled me up. I was ready to sleep in the plane till morning. Thanks folks, this is the second time you have given me great service.

Stopped at McCook to refuel and check on the weather. Line personnel met us on the ramp. They were very friendly and offered (without having to ask) the courtesy car if we needed to run in town. I GOT A THANK YOU CARD IN THE MAIL THE FOLLWING WEEK! Red Willow Aviation is the kind of FBO we need to support.

Stopped at McCook several years ago on my annual trip to Clinton, Iowa for the Cessna 150-152 Fly-In. It was great and I have stopped ever since both coming and going from Cheyenne, Wyoming. On one other trip besides the one this year I had to overnight for weather. Super service. This year I stopped at night just about 10 minutes before closing. The two-person line crew met me, fueled the plane instantly and took it down to a hangar for me. Then they provided me with a courtesy car, which I took to the Holiday Inn. The next morning my plane was waiting for me. A wonderful place to stop and well worth "spreading the word".

Stopped for fuel on June 22 after diverting for t-storms. Two linemen were at the plane immediately and fueled the plane. High speed Internet available for immediate DUATS filing.

I can't sing their praises loudly enough. We were stopped by a line of thunderstorms and diverted to KMCK. Shirley gave us free soft drinks, set us up with a hotel ("chief") and a lovable courtesy car overnight. And, best of all, they suggested we hangar our Archer. During dinner, 40 mph winds and rain hit and tornado warnings went off as the storm roared through--thanks to Shirley we and the plane were safe. My highest recommendation. Take the hangar if they suggest it!

Landed due to bad weather, and Shirley at Red Willow was the port in the storm, very friendly and helpful, Hanger overnight, directions to motel, courtesy car everything we needed. Line guys were great; I was impressed that with gas they wash your windshield!!! Highly recommend this FBO.

Stopped going and coming on a trip from 2R0 to CPR. Good gas price, service, and several courtesy cars if you have the need. The guys stayed late Sunday to sell 18 gallons when I told them I was coming. Highly recommended.

Very nice folks, had the fuel truck out and the chocks in right when I shut down... Very friendly and helpful, offered a crew car if I needed one, but I was on a quick turn around back to Denver, so they made sure everything happened fast. I'll go there next time my plans take me that way...

Highly recommend! Stopped for fuel and my plane was full with a credit card slip ready to sign before my bladder was empty. All this and prices that are tough to beat.

Very friendly service, and very serious about their well-priced gas (less important given I'm driving a '47 Luscombe, but still a great deal). They even sent me a follow-up letter in the mail inviting me to come back and stop again!

Stopped by three times on transcend flights in my C414, seeking cheap avgas mid-continent. This is a great fuel stop! Nice smooth runways, very cheap gas, fast truck-delivered fuel, and when I called ahead, they stayed after closing for me one night and brought me cheeseburgers for lunch on another stop. My favorite fuel stop now!

Flew in for an overnight layover. I had called ahead to find out if there was a place to stay and although the listing now only shows one motel there are several in town. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and the rate was OK and the place is very nice. Red Willow lent me their car so I could get to town (not far). Fueled my plane when I arrived promptly and the price that was lower than I had paid all week on my 3,000 mile + trip. Runways are in great shape and the ramp is lit well for after dark arrival. I will stop again.

We ended up making an unscheduled stop in McCook when a passenger couldn't pass another bathroom. I called ahead to find out if fuel was available since it was Saturday. Two linemen met us on the ramp with their truck running. They had the plane fueled before my passengers had finished their business. It was a very quick turn and with full-service fuel prices cheaper than self-service at my home field in CO.

Flew into Mc Cook on a wx diversion from Minden. The line gentlemen were very aggressive and worked hard to make sale some gas. The fuel is also the cheapest I have bought all summer, they hooked us up with a sweet Chevy to take to town and get some local eats. Thanks and great job!

Stopped at MCK for fuel, and found fast and friendly service, and relatively good fuel prices. The lineman cleaned the windshield and offered a courtesy car to drive into town for lunch. The runways are in great condition. If in the area, this is a very good airport stop.

Nice, friendly stop on my way from CO to IL. Fuel price as shown on AirNav - very decent price (in relative terms). Cleaned windscreen and gave me a quick turnaround in my A36.

What a pleasant surprise to stop at KMCK for fuel on the way from MO to UT! Fuel price was great and the service was friendly and prompt. Was offered a windscreen cleaning, courtesy car for lunch in town, and a free pop on departure. Interesting old fuel truck in the hangar used for parades. Good country feel here. I'll make this a regular X/C fuel stop.

We stopped at KMCK on the way back from a Thanksgiving trip in IL. It was around 1900 and we had to call up someone on the list. They gladly came out and got us refueled quickly. The fuel prices were very reasonable compared to other stops.
