Thanks to Jerry, Roger, and everyone at MAC!!! On Nov. 22, 2009 I had a problem with my aircraft. Jerry Smith the FBO Manager/Owner found me a room for the night, took me to breakfast the next morning, then routed me to the correct folks on the field for repairs and personally saw to it that I got home when we found out I'd have to leave my aircraft. I thought this kind of service didn't exist in this century. WOW was I wrong. MAC should teach classes on customer service! Thanks again!

From Steve Schoettle on 10-Nov-2009
Have not been to the other FBO, but the facilities and services at MAC Jet Center were excellent. Flew in for a weekend, and Roger took care of our every need. Beautiful part of the country, wonderful FBO. We will be back.

From Jim Finley on 05-Sep-2009
We liked it so much on our first trip that we stayed four days the second time. Great people, great service, excellent facility. Thanks so much!

From Duane Ridenhour on 26-Aug-2009
We stopped here two times during an August 25 trip from Alabama to Chickasha, OK and back to Alabama. This has to be one of the cleanest and most friendly FBO's that I have visited in the past 15 years. Fuel prices were lower than most and the staff made us feel very welcome. I think I will give it a 5 star rating.

From John Lemmel on 09-Aug-2009
Wife and I dropped into MAC JC on flight back from Iowa in my Skymaster. Great service, best fuel prices on the field and excellent facilities. Highly recommended.

From Kent Magnuson on 03-Aug-2009
In for quik turn today in our Turbo Commander N900NE and had 'best of' everything offered. Great fuel price and nice lobby. Thanks folks.

From Chris Morris on 02-Aug-2009
Great stop, excellent service, very friendly, nice FBO.

From WD Lewis on 29-Jul-2009
Stopped in there 7-12-09 in my TR182. Hot! (But they have nice air-conditioned facilities w/ fruit & cookies). Great service with great fuel price. Signage a little small when I was there so make sure you get to the correct FBO. Beware coming south the airport is surrounded by MOA's especially towards the northeast.

From Scott Sellmeyer on 19-Jun-2009
Stopped in here on a Saturday for an Angel Flight linking connection, and could not have had better service! Great facility, friendly owner and staff, great fuel price.

From James Mccandless on 18-May-2009
Unbelievable service..... I believe some of the best fuel prices in the Midwest.. Water, snacks, you name it.. Just 1st class all the way..

From Robert Harris on 15-May-2009
On the way home from CPAC Tuesday night minimums went to zero at TKI and the surrounding area. We had to divert to CGI (Mena Arkansas). Mena is great little airport and it has a new FBO named MAC-Mena Jet Center. The facility is beautiful. I can't say enough about the hospitality and great service. If you are near Mena MEZ stop in. They have a courtesy car you can use for lunch or stay over. The gas is priced right too! 3.19 gal. We'll be back.

From George Horn on 29-Apr-2009
Had some work done by Mountain Airframe (Del Lehmann...Who did fantastic sheet-metal work!) and MAC delivered fuel to Mountain Airframe's hangar AND gave a 10-cent discount for doing business with another Mena, AR aviation business! What a concept! Great price, great service, with a smile and a discount!

From Nathan Larson on 20-Feb-2009
Great! Stopped in for an Angel Flight. Was quickly fueled with the lowest priced 100LL I've seen in a while. Was given the courtesy van for a trip into town for lunch, and was given top notch service in a new, clean FBO. Keep it up!

From RT Hier on 14-Feb-2009
Great service Great prices Great facility. The people at MAC are great they noticed that I had a low tire and when I returned to my plane they had it aired up for me at no charge. They really go the extra mile. Thanks Guys.

From Larry Grace on 22-Jan-2009
We have stopped at MAC Jet Center several times, and have always found the service to be excellent. They literally roll out a red carpet next to your airplane, provide a very good courtesy car, and their 100 LL prices are the lowest I've seen. The FBO facility is new, and very nice. There are also several great aviation businesses located at MEZ, including Mena Aircraft Engines where we had our 182S engine overhaul completed. Great result. I would encourage pilots looking for stopping point on a long cross country to consider MEZ.

From Danny Baker on 11-Jan-2009
Fantastic facility! Have been there 3 times- Neal has gone above and beyond in service! Prompt service, met at the plane with the red carpet every time!! A Cherokee 180 at that! Great fuel price, crew car, huge pilot lounge. The standard by which other FBO's are judged!

From Beth Robinson on 07-Nov-2008
Wonderful place to stop, and you cannot beat their prices! Friendly, professional, and so helpful. In 14 years of flying it is the first time an FBO put out a carpet for me to step onto as I descended from the wing of my small 4-seat aircraft.

From Doug Preston, Sr. on 29-Sep-2008
The first 2 weeks of Sept. we had 4 aircraft from Alabama make a tour out west. We stopped at MAC on the way out and back. We covered 6215SM and MAC was the best fuel price of the trip. They loaned us the van for breakfast and treated us like "BIG IRON". Great service and friendly folks. They are Class "A".

From David McNeill on 09-Aug-2008
Only negative is that their fuel is still coded as "other" on the credit card purchase and as such does not get the 3% discount by the credit card company. If an FBO does not code your purchase as "vehicle expense" when you buy fuel you will not get the discount.

From Tom Nau on 03-Aug-2008
Stopped in on flight from St. Louis to San Antonio in our Bonanza. Good fuel price. Very friendly service! Nice lounge and pilot room. I definitely recommend.

From Sam Matta on 31-Jul-2008
Stopped on way to OSH. Excellent service, decent fuel prices and great folks. Will use next time headed that way!

From Richard Bach on 13-Jul-2008
Great service! Jerry and Roger and Connie went out of their way to help when an oil gage problem forced an overnight stay. Part was ordered overnight and Dale Lehmann at Mountain Airframe Services repaired the problem as top priority and I was on my way next morning. MJC Is an outstanding operation all the way around.

From Dave Morris on 06-Jun-2008
Stopped here in an old Mooney on the way to Dallas when fighting a headwind and I needed a quick turn. The most reasonable fuel prices around, clean modern facilities, snack machine, very friendly people. Got a follow-up letter in the mail thanking me for stopping.

From Nichole Stoneburgh on 05-Jun-2008
As an employee of an FBO in MI (Pontiac Air Center) I can honestly say the service here was above & beyond what is expected. It was Memorial Day weekend & every thing was closed. Neil Moran helped me out throughout the day! At the end of the day I couldn't fly home myself due to engine problems. And every hotel was booked and the car rental places where closed. No taxi to be found. Neil called his own mom to give me a 2.5 hour ride to Little Rock airport! The service was amazing! Fuel prices where great.

From Grant Settle on 22-Mar-2008
Second time to Mena, both times good experiences. Great facilities and a great fuel stop.

From Paul Dettinger on 25-Sep-2007
Great service and facility. Tied down at MAC on Saturday 9/4. Our rent car company picked us up at MAC (before noon on Sat) and we were able to drop the car back at MAC on Mon 9/6 before departing. As mentioned in other comments it's difficult to get Center to open an IFR flight plan departing Mena VFR.

From Terry Orner on 07-Sep-2007
Stopped for fuel and received great service from MJC. The line and office personnel were very courteous and helpful. However, we always have an issue going into KMEZ during IMC. Center loses radios below 4300' and is reluctant to let you go lower, unless you're on the ILS approach. Also, if taking off IFR, there's no good way to get your clearance unless you take off VFR and climb to 4300' to contact center for your clearance.

From Frank Setzler on 27-Aug-2007
I visited MAC during a 3500-mile trip this last summer. All of the staff was very friendly and quite helpful. Dan Page made long distance phone calls to other airports along my route to make sure that we would have a taxi or an airport car available after hours. That is going above and beyond. The name JET Center always makes me nerves when I taxi up in a 40 year old Piper. They treated me very fair and they had good prices.

From Paul Loghry on 31-Jul-2007
Stopped a MAC Jet Center to and from Oshkosh and found good fuel prices (same as shown on AirNav), friendly folks, and a nearly new looking facility. On the return trip Dan and his crew loaned me tools, then sent me to Priority Aviation on the field where they resolved the issue at no charge! What a great stop! Thanks guys!

From Carroll Allison on 21-Jun-2007
Nice airport, nice facilities, great service and lowest fuel prices. Highly recommend this FBO.

From Red Barrister Aviation on 17-Jun-2007
I can't say enough good things about MAC Jet Center. Jerry Smith and his team is top notch. Neil was a big help. Very competitive fuel prices and super friendly. They went out of their way to make my unintentionally long visit in Mena a very pleasant one. I'll definitely be back.

From David Caskey on 05-Apr-2007
In from the Bahamas, I received outstanding service on the line and in the office. My hotel was booked and a car was provided along with hangar space. I needed some minor repairs and they were taken care of efficiently. Will be back.

From Mark Shackelford on 02-Apr-2007
Mac Jet Center has provided me with excellent service over the past two months. I've flown in and out several times, with excellent service on each occasion. They have been very generous with the use of their crew cars for which I am very appreciative. Dan and Eric, the line crew, are as professional as they come. These guys really are out to please their customers.

From Jim Risher on 12-Mar-2007
Flew into Mena on the night of February 14th in a Conquest II. Called ahead and the line guy stayed late (no charge) to fuel the plane. He had the truck parked and fuel pumping before I even got out of the plane. EXCELLENT SERVICE!! One of the best x country fuel stops I have found. I will be back. If the weather is IFR, be sure to call Jonesboro FSS from the FBO (or cell) to pick up your IFR, as there is no radio communication with center or radio until airborne.

From Gregory D Raynbird on 01-Mar-2007
Randomly picked Mena as a CC destination to build time and a good choice it was. Impeccable service, great fuel prices and beautiful views all around. With new facilities going up and a more than adequate temporary facility now, this is truly a diamond in the rough. Thanks...We'll be back!

From Rondle Parnell on 02-Feb-2007
Jerry Smith, the General Manager, and Daniel Page, the Fuel Manager at MAC Jet Center, went out of their way to make sure our medical flight got out on time. They are not only courteous but customer oriented assisting in anyway they can to make your visit to Mena pleasant and successful. The FBO is nice and the fuel prices very competitive. We will be back!

From Mike Hays on 19-Dec-2006
Stopped in Dec. 13 for a paint bid and was welcomed at MAC Jet Center with the "red carpet" treatment for my little RV. Laurie went out of her way to offer the best in hospitality. Fuel prices were very competitive. They are in temporary but very adequate quarters until their new facility is built. Not well marked with signs but look for the Shell sign on the east side of Rwy 17-35 at the south end.

From Dustin Bourn on 18-Dec-2006
Arrived in a King Air to pick up another aircraft out of the paint shop. Excellent service and the FBO on the other side should come over and take notes on how to treat people and be professional. Highly recommended give them an A+++

From Joe Daniel on 06-Dec-2006
Picked up two aircraft from paint shop on 12-4-06, excellent service by Dan, we were in a hurry to leave, so he was prompt and courteous. Highly recommend Mac Jet Center

From Taylor Scott on 28-Nov-2006
We stopped at MAC Jet Center in Mena today on a 135 trip. We were not able to take on any of the cheap gas because of the 135 IMC climb gradients and our pax load, but we were still treated with the utmost respect and professional courtesy. Real nice facility, cheap gas, two Internet/WX computers, pilot's lounge, vending, and a courtesy car. We normally stop across the field but saw the Shell aviation sign and figured we would try it since the other place is pretty run down and you may or may not get friendly service. Our pax took the courtesy van into town for business and we were offered an employees car to drive. I will definitely be back. Thanks MAC Jet Center!
