I fly to Miller often as my mother lives only 3 miles from the field and Barbara and the gang at Ocean Aire are always friendly and helpful. Most recently I flew there 11/9 VFR for an overnight to bring my mother and grandparents back the next day for a visit. I arrived at 4:30 PM and when checking the weather that evening for the return trip realized that the airport manager decided on a last minute repair of runway cracks and notamed the runway closed the whole next day from 8-5 (The whole time the FBO is open in the winter). This made it impossible to even get fuel and depart before the last minute closure went into effect. I was upset to say the least and swore that I would never fly into this airport again. Lenny and the nice folks at Ocean Aire called me the next morning and went the extra mile to lift the Notam temporarily so I and a couple other folks could get out. They turned a really bad experience in a great customer service save and in doing so gained a customer

New FBO looks to be no more than a month or two from opening. It's going to be a BIG leap ahead of the current facility. I fly regularly with several tenants here and line service is courteous and prompt. For such a small FBO they have a SERIOUS MX facility (saw a B-25 fly in to be wrenched on the other day). MJX is bound to evolve into what BLM should have (and didn't)- a hub for light to medium cabin bizjets as well as GA prop traffic.

MJX has always charged more then the AirNav published price when I stop there for fuel. The reason I stop there because they are reported to have a good Bonanza mechanic (so far have not had the need) but I would not call them friendly. Even with a $240 fuel purchase, there is no thank you or smile. Will probably look for somewhere else on our next trip between Maine and Florida.

Have hangared a Citation Mustang here several times, and plan to continue to come here when visiting the area. Good service.

As of 9/13/10 MJX is doing work on the only runway 6-24, and closing the airport at times. Unfortunately, there is little notice before NOTAM is posted (3-5 hours): Check and/or call before your takeoff. Most closures have been during the evening. Projected to last 21 days.

Very nice airport. They are building a new FBO. The old one is clean and has everything you could want. Very helpful staff. I won't hesitate to recommend it to everyone.

Have been here several times and they have always taken great care of my Bonanza and me. Good rental car services. One of my favorite fueling spots and overnights. Thanks.

Agree with all of the below when it comes to service. Have never had a bad experience with Ocean Aire. One word of caution however, actual fuel prices may not agree with AirNav quotes. Filled up yesterday (10/31) and expected the AirNav price of 4.53; actual price 4.74. When asked, was told "the prices went up yesterday". AirNav price still shows the lesser number.

First time here today; a great little airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the use of the courtesy car made it perfect to get into Toms River and back.
